Svalbard The Land of the Midnight Sun

Its been a 'Bucket List' trip for some time to go to Svalbard (Norway) but I can't say exactly why. Perhaps the appeal of the high arctic was it's remoteness, the scenery, the wildlife and the landscape being plunged into permanent light, or darkness, for much of the year. Either way, Svalbard delivered, and then some, but my time there was far too short and I MUST return.
