Congrats on the ring and silver bead Christine! I have to say you won again. The can opener is called a P38. I did fairly well yesterday, with a stainless steel necklace, which rang up 2 to 4, a perfectly good Case XX Trapper pocketknife and only 2 tent stakes on tent stake beach. I've been averaging 16 tent stakes a day here so yesterday was nice.

Bill and Christine I mostly detect in dirt/soil (not sand). Do you think I need a Garrett carrot pinpointer TIP protector? Have there been problems with the tip of the carrot wearing off/breaking? Good video. Jim
I would say YES... the dirt and soil are hard on the tip. Christine has actually worn a hole in the protector and I can't imagine what the carrot would look like if the tip protector was not there....
