    everyone could tell Jack was hungry at the early half of the season, for Ducati to hold out announcing the 2nd factory rider, it was not a surprise he would get another offer and took it. His motivation and drive will be what ktm needs.

    It was pretty obvious for quite some time with Martin being a hero or a zero. Then the throwaway in one of the latter races with a statement to the effect of I was going to win or crash sealed his fate. You can’t win championships with that kind of thinking. As past champions always state. “I push when I am strong and I do the best I can when I’m weak.” That’s how you win championships.

    Ducati made the right call choosing Enea. I'm a Jorge fan but his season and inconsistency cost him the seat. He can win races in Pramac next season. Jack had to be let go. He is a great GUY no doubt. But he had his time in Ducati to fight for a championship. He won races but never was a serious title contender. Pecco is a head case, pressure has gotten to him every time he faced it. He went on a run of wins when he was basically OUT of the championship. The minute he is alive in it, he dumps the bike. 5 DNF's are not the mark of a Champ. Enea owes NO ONE anything. He is quick, young, lightweight and is not a Academy rider. So he could care less about Peco. And rightfully in 23' he should ride for his title.
    Marquez signing quickly for Gresini was a brilliant move by him. He will start the season on a bike out of the box with loads of data and a proven winning machine.

    Interesting to see the differences between teams, though! Aprilia hanging on to Aleix for dear life and immeadiately grabbed Viñales, while Ducati has the luxury problem of having too many top riders to choose from :D Still seeing the boss so devastated about loosing Miller makes them so human. Like they actually care about their riders and that's what makes the Moto GP great and Ducati even more

    Jorge said he did those things Enea did with the GP21 last year. I don't think so. With GP21, Jorge only managed 1 win, and note that when he used that bike, it's the most updated bike, not a one year-older bike. Enea with GP21, by the time Jorge made that statement, was already a 3 times winner on a year-older bike. I think Jorge is kind of too confident, or anything, I'm not really sure.

    • @cedricasdfghjkl9151
      @cedricasdfghjkl9151 2 года назад +1

      Exactly, these are reasons why he is my least liked rider on the grid, even in Moto3 I didn't like him. Enea is my favourite rider behind Marc Marquez, and the fact that I don't like Martin got me also really excited about this fight, because besides the fact that I wanted Enea too get it, I also really badly didn't want Martin to get the seat, in any way.

    I completely understand Jack's frustration and Ducati was not looking at the bigger picture. Sure Enea is going to be a champ, wouldn't rule out Jorge, but for the brand, and for Pecco Jack was as good as it gets. The fans will endure his loss the most. We all saw the Andreas fight, having two fast riders usually doesn't pan out as expected.

    Why every Italian team in red with the best machines don't have a good fortune wether it's F1 or MotoGP? Because their EGO of being best is much bigger than the their rider's mental stability......not continuing with Miller and putting 2 protagonist riders with almost same level of talent & hunger of championship won't help Ducati it will only make it difficult for Ducati to handle their rivalry. Really at this early stage it's obviously very stupid to Enea with Pecco.

    The smell of despration at Ducati is over whelming. Their year old bike is still better than anything else on the grid let alone the current one, they've got 8 of them on the grid!!! And they still can't beat Quatararo! They demonstarte ZERO faith in their No.1 rider by signing a direct rival to his position and let go the best no.2 in the world. Next year Pecco will get no support from the other side of the garage (and lets not kid ourselves he needs all the help he can get) who will crash 30% of the time, win 30% of the time of finish mid pack the rest. Pecco will walk away and they'll sack the Beast.......then what (Martin will NOT ride a Ducati again). Digi?

    • @blogospheric
      @blogospheric 2 года назад +1

      Um, no. Ducati gave Pecco a 2-year extension to reassure him about his place in the team. Signing Bestia was the best decision ever. Martin is still on the mend, and Jack (whilst a great guy) was never going to be a championship contender. There's a famous saying in MotoGP,, "Your teammate is your first rival". Same bike. Different rider. Best competition ever.

    • @mikeharrison72
      @mikeharrison72 2 года назад

      Bestia was the correct decision, Ducati have the overall best bike on the grid, if you listen you’ll hear Neil Hodgson et al have said this publicly. Jack is a good rider but he made the decision to leave before Ducati had made their decision, he wanted a 2 year deal and didn’t want to be fighting out his future with 2 other riders. Pecco didn’t want Martin as a team mate and Bestia’s form was superior anyway, but to say they’re desperate is really such an over reaction, they’ve just won the constructers championship, they’ve got riders winning regularly and they’re still at the top in innovation, oh and BTW, VR46 had the option to use other manufacturers and chose Ducati, hardly a bad reference.

    • @thegibbonisreal
      @thegibbonisreal 2 года назад

      @@mikeharrison72 If you read you'd see "Their year old bike is still better than anything else on the grid let alone the current one". Jack saw the writing on the wall and jumped before he was pushed. Pecco did'nt want either as a team mate and publically stated he wanted Jack to stay. They DGAF about the constructors trophy (if you watch) and they certainly don't care about non factory bikes winning (apart from taking points from Fabio and Aleix).
      Ducati had the fastest 8 bikes on the grid and they've been out performed by possibly the worst (though the Honda is risible atm) and by the 'smallest factory with an unfancied rider.
      Tardozzi and Ciabatti are deserately fighting for their futures and it's starting to show. Domenicali will want someone to blame if they can't get it done this time (and with the return of Marc it seems unlikely they'll get another chance anytime soon).
