I have extremely irregular periods. The first month I decided to track my ovulation we are so blessed and ended up getting pregnant. Hoping and praying you find luck with tracking ovulation, too!

That was for sure positive! That’s how I got pregnant with my daughter this past June I had tested the month prior and nothing happened and the second month I convinced her. It was also my birthday the day I ovulated so I prayed so much and two weeks later god gave me my birthday gift.

The line must be darker than the control line to get a positive result. I recently started to track my ovulation and I noticed that on two occasions the two lines were almost the exact same color and the positive result arrived the next morning.. they suggest to test twice a day if you’re trying to get pregnant

It actually depends on an woman’s average hormonal level. Not all will get the same „high“ result, but will still ovulate. What’s most important is to track the trend of it at learn when you get your own peak of it. I am not trying to be mean but educate☺️

Just a note from a momma who had to track ovulation to conceive both times. The clear blue digital ovulation tests are absolutely worth purchasing even if they are expensive. No questioning if it’s positive and they worked both times for us.

Your videos just randomly popped up to my feed recently but figured I'd suggest the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It helped me a lot in understanding my body's signs especially while breastfeeding

Highly recommend the book Taking Charge if Your Fertility. You don’t need the test strips to see if you ovulated if you follow their method, you can tell by temperature tracking super easily.
Hey, maybe you know but just in case it helps: as some comments were mentioning in order to know if you're ovulating you need to do a all round of testing. This tests detect the LH in your body. You need to be looking for a surge ie a darker line than the control. To detect it it is better to have a few days of testing to compare with. It is unlikely your ovulating just a few days after your period. Keep testing and look out for the darker line! Then you would be ovulating in the next 24 to 48h. Keep using then, they worked for me ❤ hope you get pregnant soon!
Actually when both lines are equally as dark that does mean ovulation.

Ovulation day = cycle lentgh - (8 till max 14 days)
Meaning if you have a cycle of 28 days you ovulate between day 14 and 20. Sperm can last between 3 till 5 days.

Hope you see this, I failed to really understand these tests and it hindered my success, so LH levels are indicated in those strips, and you always have it in small /medium amounts in your bloodstream. So I recommend trying to follow your personal levels two or three times a day during a month to really understand the difference between ovulation and fluctuations in LH levels, also when you actually see a positive, this only means ovulation is triggered , it often takes up to 36 hrs for you to actually succeed if you have intercourse, good luck !!

Clearblue digital ovulation tests made it super simple for me.
Hope you get pregnant soon! ❤️ I had to use ovulation tests because ever since we had our covid infection my cycle had been all screwed up! With my son I ovulated normally on day 15/16. After covid I ovulated a whole week later (day 22/23!) with only a luteal phase of 9/10 days. And even days after my body showed all the main typical ovulation symptoms! Sending baby dust! Amazon pregmate Lh strips are cheap and super easy to read. Once both lines are dark, that's the surge!
I highly recommend digital ovulation tests! The strips are hard to interpret. The test line has to be darker than the control, and that's not always easy to discern. So digital ones where you just get a smiley when it's positive are really good 👍

The moment the two are as bold as each other it’s OV day! 🎉 But it’s still possible to get pregnant when you see any line at all ❤ There is a window a couple days before the big OV day and a couple days after the big OV day that you can conceive 🫶🏻

That looks pretty positive!!! that’s why i think a lot of women have trouble getting pregnant, they don’t know exactly when they ovulate! so ovulation test strips are the best way to find out!!
Sorry, I must have misunderstood but are you saying that in your country women don't know how their bodies work and still don't know after having several children? I must be wrong because, from here, it's at least strange or even insane.

@@smarcucci79 Pls explain. how do you know when you ovulate? there’s no need to be rude! for some women, like myself, we don’t get any signs or symptoms of ovulation so these ovulation test strips are the easiest and best way of keeping track. Nothing wrong with that!

The female cycle breaks down as follows : (this is based on my own tracked cycle so 28 days cycle with 5 days periods)
From the 1st to the 5th day: menstrual phase.
A woman's menstrual cycle begins on the first day of her period. I will assume you know this part.
From the 6th to the 10th day: follicular phase
An oocyte, contained in a follicle, is matured.
Hormones (estrogens) act on the lining of the uterus and allow the lining of the uterine cavity to grow.
From the 11th to the 15th : ovulation
The phase above continue (in fact there are somethimes considered one)
On the 14th day, the oocyte has reached maturity so now the egg is released and leaves the ovary to go towards the nearest tube.
From the 16th to the 28th day: luteal phase.
In the event of fertilization, the egg travels towards the uterus where it attaches to the wall, progesterone is secreted to block periods. The pregnancy begins.
In the absence of fertilization, the egg dies, progesterone secretion ceases and menstruation appears on the twenty-eighth day.
This is, of course, simplified.
Depending on the length of your cycle, the number of days of your period and your age, the duration of each part of the cycle may vary a little.
There are period tracking apps if you have trouble remembering everything. I use Stardust, it's free and tracks all your phases and you can of course personalize the length of your cycle and your period.
If your cycle is very irregular, tests will help but you need to know your phases well to have a baby more easily.
Again, Ii hope this help. Furthermore, each phase influences our emotions, moods, creativity and productivity, you should be able to find more information on this subject quite easily. But, again simplfied :
Phase 1: reflection period. Increased mental capacities (evaluation, spirit of synthesis, analysis, strategy), conducive to planning.
Withdrawal and sensitivity.
Phase 2: dynamic period. Increased physical capacities (energy, efficiency, motivation, logic), conducive to action and decision-making.
Demanding and insensitivity.
Phase 3: expressive period. Increased expressive abilities (boldness, optimism, assurance, persuasion), conducive to interpersonal skills (very logically).
Frankness and passivity.
Phase 4: creative period. Increased intuitive abilities (inspiration, creativity, insight, rationality), conducive to organization and optimization.
Emotionality and critical thinking.
And the number of adult married women or men, sometimes parents (mostly North Americans) that I see on RUclips and who don't know much about the basics of periods (or how the male reproductive system works elsewhere), how I quote "it's done down there", continues to disturb me... Between those who believe in it when they are pranked that we peel after periods and the one who believed that his wife would no longer have periods because she had their second child and yes of course, we have a special setting when we born two children, it's ok all stop...
I wasn't mean or rude, I would have liked to be, I would have said that all the girls and boys in France had lessons on the male and female reproductive organs before they turned 12, that prevents child pregnancies, the school harassment and fears for young girls who would not have been warned. They will all still have lessons, with more and more details, those, until they are 15... Afterwards, there are always some but it depends on our specialization before university and we don't have the same content because not the same number of hours in this subject (Life and Earth Sciences as said in my time)

My periods are soo irregular, comes every few months , sometimes not for 6 months . Thank god, I got blessed with 2 little ones as soon as I started trying . And 3rd baby trying for 3 months now .

It took us almost 8 months to get pregnant with our second. The best advice I ever got was, "the moment you stop putting so much pressure on trying, it'll happen." No lie, I took the advice, and I took a positive preg test one month later.
I have extremely irregular periods and oddest thing when I got pregant with my oldest two I was on my period and my son i nevet got it but I still ovulated it's crazy and aame with my youngest daughter I pray you get the miracle you deserve

Took us 7 months of trying to get our baby girl and I started using ovulation strips 5 months in. When the one side is darker than the original line you’re ovulating and it’s time to get to it momma ❤ id say just start after your period ends once I finally figured out the actual time I was ovulating I got pregnant. Took me 2 months of using the strips to get it figured out. Praying you get your baby soon momma ❤

Have you tried a basal thermometer? I found that to be way more accurate for tracking ovulation.

Basal temperature rises 1-2 days *after* ovulation already occured. So if you're trying to conceive, you have to try a couple days before it rises and look at other fertility symptoms. The temperature is only an retrospective indicator that you truly ovulated.

Make sure to test ovulation as much as possible! When the test is really positive, it usually means you have just passed ovulation. It’s more of a retroactive test.
Two kids is not enought hapiness and love for us? Just more and more and more. Modern times.....
I always know if I'm about to ovulate.. I will have the cramping the day before and the day of ovulation... I didn't use opks for my two babies since I conceived almost instantly (the 1st month try) but with my 3rd I started tracking and its took me 5 cycle to successfully get pregnant. But opks really help to see when the ovulation is about to happen and we can plan ahead..
That’s a great idea to track-I didn’t realize that I was ovulating on day 6-7 of my cycle (only a day or 2 after my period), once we figured that out we got pregnant quickly 🤰
A good friend had many issues since teenage years, endometriosis etc. thought she would never be able to conceive and she used mct oil with c8 and c10, medicinal mushrooms (cordeceps, lions mane and chaga….can usually buy blends), egg yolk (apparently brand called bullet proof is good) and cacao. High dose vitamin c also. She has a baby now with the second on the way and swears by these remedies 🙏💕 also you can have accupuncture treatments specifically designed for fertility
When you’re at peak the test line should be darker than the control line so if you’re not sure keep testing through the day and if you don’t see if get darker then it’s probably negative. Those tests can be super tricky because of that and sometimes you can think it’s positive because both lines look equally dark. Try buying some digital tests too so if you’re ever not 100% sure you can take one and it’ll confirm

The line needs to be darker than the control line generally, however everyone’s hormone levels are different. So I recommend doing it for a month or two and getting a sense of your lines. For me, I always had a line that was pretty prominent, but when I ovulated it was SUPER dark

If you JUST finished your period a few days ago and are already ovulating it means you're ovulating a little early. Which can make it a little harder to get pregnant because it doesn't give the egg time to mature enough and the uterine lining to thicken enough for implantation. A lot of times it's from hormone imbalance. Which can be easily fixed in most cases. Getting your hormones tested at the doctor would be a great start if it continues. Good luck! The cvs test strips are horrible!!!!!! I would buy clear blue. You can check the reviews online. I can tell naturally when I’m ovulating and it was my first month trying so I figured I had to buy the test strips but the cvs brand said I wasn’t ovulating on my predicted day and the day I felt body ques that I was. I took 3 tests that day. Morning afternoon and evening. I disregarded the test and tried to conceive as it was the only day I could try last month around ovulation because my husband had a work trip. Found out two weeks ago I’m pregnant ! Sometimes these tests do more damage than good if you strictly listen to them. ♥️ good luck on your journey and hopefully that third baby comes sooner than later. I would say a possible yes !! First line needs to be darker than the test line . ALSO remember sperm can live for up to 5 days . Sex every other day after your period for week and a half should hit your window. Good Luck mama!!
