Wow! I just came off the Garbage and Screaming Females duet of Because the Night into this. Never heard of Screaming Females which is my loss. She plays amazingly!
Ha...So many of my friends are stuck in the "classic rock" rut and can't accept that there is great, new rock out there.. We are the lucky ones, mortuary...
I wish I had the full show also, but the lighting was so dark, with mostly red spotlights, I didn't think it would turn out. Besides, with no tripod, it is a long time to hold a camera. :)
true.....so many locals bands here play the same shit, i play with garage / alt/ art cover band playing stuff the major of folks here have no clue as to who / what songs we do. (Pixies, Gang of Four, Dahlia Seed, PJ Harvey, Pretenders, Radiohead,X,etc hell we even do a Blue Man Group tune just to really screw people)
When I recorded this at the Subterranean, it was the first time they played it. A few months after I recorded it, we saw them at Lincoln Hall in Chicago and I asked Jarret what this song was called and he told me, "Wishing Well."

ok ...well... you got me by 7 yrs. Yep they are certainly one of best out there now. Wish King Mike had kept his vintage Acoustic rig.

I know...unusual, right? Might have been family to one of the other bands. At least he was wearing earplugs.
