So open air intakes work fine 99% of the time as your moving when driving. If your dragging from the lights you might have less initial power for a split second then the cool air comes in. Something most of us already knew despite all the boo boys saying open filters produce less power. 😂

Does this work better at revealing crank case pressures? I'm stage 3 and I feel like the crank case has a little higher than normal pressures using the OEM version.

Our setup ensures optimal crankcase ventilation by utilizing a high-capacity design and can solve the issues you may have with the factory PCV assembly at any power level.

hey what is the catch can that needs to be purchased to work with this billet valve? for a S3 8Y 2022 model .

We do not currently offer a Catch Can or PCV Solution for the 8Y S3 at this time. It is something that we will be working on in the future!
The product discussed in this video will not fit the 8Y S3.

Does this need be ran with a catch can or can I run this without a catch as just a replacement pcv valve? It seems like thats what you guys seem to be saying as well as the internet but i want a direct answer because im gonna order one if i can run it as an oem replacement. I cant run a catch can because my car goes through winter. Thanks for your time.

Our replacement Valve Cover Breather requires our catch can setup and it cannot be ran by itself.

Stating the factory does not work is not useful, with absolutely no context as to why or showing any supporting data provides no information respective to the problem your product is supposed to address and does not show that it does such.. it could be worse.

We state the factory system "doesn't work", then we spend the next 3-4 minutes explaining exactly why and how it doesn't work, you'll need to watch the whole 5 minute video to get all the details. We do extensive street and track testing on all our products, including our catch can systems, our products work because we test them and verify the results. In the case of this product, we have proven through extensive engineering and testing that oil is kept in the crank case, oil is not pumped out of the factory PCV system like the factory system allows. All of this is easily verifiable and our customers benefit from our in depth understanding, engineering and testing practices.
