This is the best tutorial video I've seen. Thanks so much for the careful editing and corrections you posted in the video. So many other videos I've seen are riddled with mistakes and I only find out by chance from the comments section.
Much appreciated! You clearly put a lot of effort and time in creating this video. I just bought the game and it will be my first one. I wish you had more videos of this game.
man, I really like this video ! ! Great job! I have watched others, but so far... GREAT !
Thanks for what you did here. Nice touch with the highlighting of paragraph sections. I am just starting this myself and I completely had stragglers wrong with the rearmost positioning. I will need to check the keyword card more.
05:30. The machine gun team is adding 2 to the movement. So, the total cost is 5. Cards will need to be discarded to move any of your soidiers there. Only pointed this out to help you improve your game play in the future.
Thanks for the review. I guess the comment at 26:45 applies to the Suppress and Caution cards still in hand then? As you mentioned the playthrough may not be completely accurate, but it gives a really good feel for the game. Thanks I appreciate that. It sure shows how you can get into a tight spot fast!
29:25 you mention you are just learning the game. I give you a big thumbs up! There is a lot going on with this game, rule book is 80 pages long.👍
6:22 range one is one space away. All of your soldiers are within range 1. Range 0 is the same card.
Nice job, thanks for the lesson.
Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you found it useful!
Very useful video. Thanks!
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful!
Needed this after a 2 year layoff from the game. Unfortunately for the game, the mistakes you made seem to happen EVERY game I play and to me makes the game too fiddly and is its biggest negative. I like it alot but good grief you need to be on top of it constantly. It can get aggravating for me especially as my memory declines!!
Great video. You're a good teacher,thanks.👍
Much appreciated Eric! Hope you have fun with the game!
I love the game but the board is terrible. Over half of it is not used while the used half is overcrowded and never has enough space for all cards. Should have been playtested a bit more. But the rest is fun, can recommend it.
ReviewGameX ... I agree, the game is great but the board is overly cramped. On shorter missions like this one I will actually use the board and leave a space or two between locations. On the longer mission I just setup on the table. It works well enough I think, because the board is not actually needed to play the game... IMO.
I agree way to cluttered, and confusing
thank you!!!!
Ugh! Unsleeved! Heathen!
Actually, the cards are a pretty thick stock and hold up extremely well. Btw, I typically sleeve cards for my games, but honestly didn't feel like it was necessary with this game.
