When I first heard one of their songs, I didn't realize they were Christian. Only found out in the comments. :D Another reason to listen to them. I love the singers clear voice!
For anyone wondering what this song is about, it is Devil's words to humans, about how he doesn't want us to know our great worth because of God. Just like in their song "We are the brave". The lyrics "There is an enemy dressed as a friend" is also reffering to the Devil, and the lyrics "The power strong enough to save is running through our veins" is reffering to God.
I discovered this band just recently and I will have the privilege of attending the concert of them in September, for me it is an excellent band in every sense, I hope they continue to produce more songs, for all their songs are fantastic no to which decide and have support to go forward, it is the kind of alternative rock that I like a lot awesome band
Love this band...tonight is my first time hearing them....saw they were on the lineup for tomorrows Surburbia Music Festival so figured I'd give them a listen...WOW I am so glad I did!!
Very nice! I've heard a few of this band's tunes, and I am impressed with the flow, the lyrics, and the overall delivery! I'm going to see them soon when they tour with Demon Hunter! Should be real fun!
I am sitting here listening to Veridia CDs & I just got a thought. Now I don't know if they would do this or if they would not do this at all. But I'm taking a shot and here it goes. So I was just wondering if veridia whatever do storytellers. Well I know I'm curious and couple other people are curious how they came up with their songs and what they mean. I know that Veridia does have a lot of songs out there but most of them aren't on their inseparable or Pretty Lies EP. Also supposably veridia is coming out with the new CD sometime in 2018 if this is true this is going to be awesome.+ It's also supposed to be the first full-length album or they're full length CD whatever you want to call it. If this is all true I cannot wait and I'm very excited. We all do need a new veridia cd + also new music videos & a new tour also new t-shirts as well .
Already listened to Mystery Of The Invisible and Furious Love (both of which were good but will probably grow on me) and Disconnected, which was pretty good, but this is freaking amazing. I already want this EP, and I haven't even listened to it all yet
It was really ironic, because I had just become OBSESSED with this song, and then in English class we talked about the philosopher Thomas Hobbes who basically said that we're robots.
This is my favorite cut on this album with it's driving bass line & vocals. I would like to know who is doing bass at their shows since there is no bassist or keyboardist listed in their website/band membership. Bass pedals may cut it, but it just isn't the same.
This is such a great song with a very important strong message for all. Rosela1996 is right, it is the words of the great deceiver. He does not want us to know that when we are on our knees and pray to the Lord that He is actually there and listening. He uses whatever he can to distract us from the Truth, even knowledge and our own feelings. The Bible is the important tool to keep us clear on what the Truth is and how God sees and judges all things. When we feel something is right, we must seek the guidance from the Bible to understand how the Creator stands on it. That is its immense value for human life and salvation. God bless you all. Keep standing for the Lord and resisting the deceiver because he will devour you in an instant if you give him an opportunity.
Coming back here after so long. Its still just as amazing as it was then. I'm actually hosting a megacollab in the game Geometry Dash, that will be named after this song
So, it sounds like the message here is that we ARE made for perfection and that the Devil has been so successful in selling the lie that we are "defective". I am genuinely curious, do you not hold to the depravity of man? If so you are one of the FEW individuals who know the truth, and I whole-heartedly encourage you to hold fast to that Veridia.
If you dislike a video for no obvious reason, you should comment what you didn't like or what could be better. I love this song, so please stop haters out there. It is very rude, just so you know.
Emilee Smith Its about the grip of lucifer or Satan changing and altering truths. The real truth of truths is Jesus the Christ is God, is far above him and how as a born again Christian you are made for a literal state of being😊 perfected in his glorious light and love.
Criminally underrated band !
It's nice to see a band with talent spreading a positive message
When I first heard one of their songs, I didn't realize they were Christian. Only found out in the comments. :D Another reason to listen to them. I love the singers clear voice!

What if I am a broken machine
Does this remind anyone else of the book Cinder?
Reminds me of magic the gathering. Phyrexia or Mirrodin. kinda
Why the fuck do people always put peoples religion into the genre of music.... I don't believe in god but I love this band
I guess because it's a Christian band
uh, well, this is a Christian band. We like to sing about what we believe.
Veridia @ winterjam 2015!
