The difference with Giddy and this bulls team when it comes to shooting the 3 ball is that Giddy is WAY more confident at taking the shot than ever before. It might be due to the fact that it's highly encouraged by the coaches to put up threes and the work that he's putting in in the off-season.

Chicago absolutely fleeced OKC with the Giddey trade. I'm an OKC fan and I'm disgusted that they got rid of him. Caruso has now played 4 games/84 minutes for the Thunder and has only 5 points on 2-15 shooting and one of the big reasons they did the trade was because he supposedly is a much better 3 pt. shooter. Just absolutely idiotic. Giddey is an infinitely better all around player than Caruso and he's only 21 compared to 30. That trade will go down in history as an absolute debacle.
Do not talk down on the CarusGOAT like that, what he brings doesn't show up on the box score. There's a reason why on most night, even if he's scoring less than 6 points that he has the highest +/- of the team and that's because of his hustle and his intensity on defense

Giddey is capable of averaging a triple double if given the minutes and he's only 21 so he has a tremendous upside. Caruso is 30 and for his career doesn't even average 7 pts. per game. His defense is good but he's so terrible offensively rightnow he's going to play himself right out of the rotation. OKC already has a ton of shooting guards that are better than him.
