@@Rick_Sanchez_C137_ i still hold the idea that if you're dressing to show off rather than safety you're doing it for either your ego or you're posturing, even genuine old boys on cafe racers went around with their appropriate leathers as opposed to a suit. but on the other hand i dont judge in situations like this since this is an event allowing for and encouraging that. i wouldnt call it classy at all but it does look like a quality spot of fun
@Chubby Lemon that's not the era they are trying to emulate. In the 1910s, when motorcycles were in their infancy, the men and women who wore them could be seen riding in a suit or dress. Only after the constabulary started wearing gloves and boots did those pieces become popular. Helmets weren't even widely worn until around the interwar years. T.E. Lawrence died because he wasn't wearing a helmet during his crash, and it wasn't until after that, that his physician looked into the benefits of riding helmets with sufficient protection.
They look like they can have almost fun off of the bikes as they do on them.Good clean fun for guys as well as the ladies. I'll ride with them one day.

The ride is held in over 100 countries, on the same weekend, in Sept. each year. Go to The Distinguished Gentlemens Ride website, DGR 2019, for details of one near you, but be quick, this years is on the 29th Sept.

Indeed! The convoy here in Indonesia seems always looked like, “hey look at me i have an expensive motorbike than yours, so you should get off of my street” . I might not found my right community yet here as these are the common things that happened. :(

No sir it measured by how he is twords other people what kind of person he is to be around . There is plenty of arrogant wealthy boys with Tweed jackets who ride horses and shoot same as there are plenty of leasure suit wearing heavily tattooed unkempt looking beer swilling joint smoking gentleman men . Do you understand me ? The clothes not make the man . I know some one who went on one of these runs and he is an arsehole wouldn't matter what he wore or rode . At the end of the day this is all just a bit of fun and for a good cause . I do my bit on a daily basis ibuy all my clothes in the charity shop and I strive to not be a horrible cunt on a daily basis .
