Been using this build for the last few days, I would stress more how important the ring is then you do. But it has been crazy strong was doing t12s at lvl 69, a bit scary but now I feel unkillable at 80

Inevitable critical support on your charged staff doesn’t guarantee a critical, it increases the chance by 100%. Meaning if your staff has 10% Crit chance your chance goes up to 20%
It says supported skills meaning the other skills socketed in the charged staff skill gem as well as storm wave, tempest, and bell. How would you know it only works on your staff?
build in maxroll is better. but I add eternal youth over meditate. and the unique ring is mandatory. really love the build. ignoring chaos damage is priceless in end game imo
Followed it to a T, got all the good stuff, built the same way. Doing almost no damage :/ hitting four to five storm waves until enemies die / freeze feels weird. 1div for weapon, 1 div for rings and amulets, rest was cheap surviving is a bit easier as with the previous builds, but damage basically not existent. don't get it. with double herald setup into 7 power charges into tempest flurry+charged staff / unloading charges into falling thunder my damage felt 1700% more. couldn't survive a white minion, but still. what am i doing wrong that i don't do any damage? the eternal question for POE without PoB. :D
The max healt as ES on chaos inoculation for the chest will be fixed. The mana as ES on eldritch battery will also be fixed (the amulet one) after news eve. Soh dont buy the items if prices got too high So enjoy the build BUT be prepared for the changes after patch. Still very fun. Thanks for sharing.

After days of thorough testing, i can confidently say that this build is an absolute godsend for chayula monks. The mana leech plus grim feast and ghost dance is just so fucking good. Took all my regrets from choosing acolyte and made them go up in smoke. All i need to figure out now is how you have such absolutely insane dps numbers, im hard stuck sub 20K dps, and i cant figure out how to make it climb like yours. If anyone has any solutions, i would gladly appreciate the help!
@@dankcrusader5832 I tinkered around and good jewels give so much (got around 40% dmg by getting three better jewels mit not one but multiple affixes that boost dmg) But yeah, can't seem to eek out the remaining 50% I'm missing to get up there, and I have a really great staff with 280-500 Phys..

Because i found out the other day that that the dps number shown in your tabs is most definitely bugged and doesnt show your actual damage numbers, at all. I am nuking Tier 15 maps, yet it still says im only doing under 20k damage. It has to be bugged, theres just no other explanation l.
Try 3 Dragons Helm over Topaz for me! IDK why but it freezes shit soooo much faster, with Stormwave shatter everything in 1st strike. I tried em both and honestly preferred 3 Dragons for my spec but I'm Flicker vs Stormwave. Love your content. Ty for the vids.
Very well made, but I currently liking my offensive setup. My defense is pretty low tho and i didnt know that the unique chest works before CI is applied. If that almost doubles ur max energy, does it still work with meditate to further double it? (Without that life node of course). Gonna test it out
have you tried the energy shield leech from the acendancy ? i dont have the points yet and my build didnt have that much ES but with your it might worth a shot

i have a amulet with 44+spirit you just look for body pieces with spirit on it isnt just amulet that it comes on i've seen it on body pieces but at a lower amount like 22
yes, but he’s using a unique chest piece that doesn’t have spirit. An amulet can get 50 spirit max. So with your base 60 spirit from the campaign and a max roll you’re short of the 120 needed. As an invoked I guess you need to run “Lead me through grace” and get the spirit that way. Thoughts?

My resistances are like 150 ea with chaos almost maxed. I feel like I need CI to just avoid these crazy one shots on juiced maps.

this build is definitely good in a lot of regards, but where you say it’s not compromising anything is untrue, you compromise a ton of crit and map clear which made that one breach example really underwhelming, but that’s just one that you’ve shown us. would like to see more!
its always hard to deal with the resists im suffering on my evasion build with it with low resists and i have it on all my body pieces and i still suffer.
@Anon1370 yeap you"re right. Not just the resists but no rarity and lack of dps are the biggest problem of this set. But still im trying to make it work since its really unkillable build
herald of thunder uses alot of mana i noticed when it is enabled if you disable it you see mana not used as much dont know about herald of ice...probably the same using up all the mana when you cast shockwave you can run into problems with mana i guess if you dont have rapid regeneration stats
if you do not auto-regenerate your health/shield, why is this build good? You do have quite a bit of health; but you still need to use healing pots to restore it. Makes it look a lot less appealing, IMO.
I have like 2100 health 2200 shield I’m lvl 66 my shield can get to like 4k with monk so I’m at like 6k health in a way that’s pretty cool I did that without any help. But idk id rather do more damage then have more health
There is a passive tree node that makes life flasks work with energy shield, however it will not auto recharge and works the same as life does. Something worth mentioning tho the trade off of saving 120 spirit versus having to use a flask is up to you. Imo i like the flask option bc i run a lot of spirit buffs and you have the flasks for panic situations. AND grim feast will recover most of it and beyond otherwise.

PSA: This is substantially worse than Invoker builds, and storm wave is just inferior to ice strike. I have a level 80 chalupa and level 90 invoker, and theres no comparison. I used storm wave with cold damage conversion up to level 88, then switched to standard ice strike. Ice strike is WAY better. You also have much more survivability and spirit by going evasion and ES on invoker compare to this. Its cool to try new builds, but if youre new to the game or monk just know this is DEFINITELY not one of the stronger builds.

Invoker with an evasion chest is substantially better, but if you already chose Chalupa this at least makes it playable

You burn a ton of points going clear across the tree, but on an acolyte with instant mana leech you are fairly tanky.
@@beeco711 dotting around the tree is half the fun and you can still end up tanky even by doing it ive repecced three times now....its fun but costly.

100 spirit from campaign the rest is from extra spirit on amulets

combat frenzy spirit gem with resonance in the passive tree gives you power charges if you freeze enemies
