the best part of this update was that it had a step-by-step guide to complete it built into the game and people still couldn't figure it out
nah this was fun people are just mad because you can’t grind it for 3000 hours
nah, I don't think you had the pleasure of getting griefed by lv50's doing Vampire slayer or competing with lv120 grinding motes for a week, Shen auctions made this update a torture compared to a chill 2 day experience it could've been

This was one of the best updates because it didn't require endgame weapons/tools + it only takes like a week to do casually
Greifing is annoying but I’ve found if you do it in the basement then most people who don’t know what they’re doing don’t even look there

If youre a normal profile with no intention to grind motes Rift is singlehandedly the most fun experience you can have in skyblock.
I was grinding motes on normal because it was the best money making method for a short period of time, and even back when few people were grinding motes it was absolute torture.
Not to mention my goofy aah internet not wanting to cooperate during vampire slayer, where the slightest microfart in your connection and a missed ice during twinclaws is a gg (on t5s)
Grinding shit is fun to me but only if I dont have to compete with other players in the same lobby. Missed opportunity imo
I enjoyed playing everything through on my ironman but by the time I was fully done with vamps I only had 2.2 million motes and roughly 6m lifetime motes. Still havent gone back to finish out the rift prism. I thoroughly enjoyed everything except Shens auction. Too long of a mindless grind for me.

Exactly, I went into the rift almost completely blind and it was one of the most fun updates ever imo
Yeah no, the rift was fine until the 70 hours of mote grinding and bashing your head against burger RNG, did you grind 18m motes?
Me? I am personally at around 2m motes surplus after killing ~200 vampires including lootshare (I used my RNG meter to get the last burger), which took me like 3 days of ~6h/day (it was in July and I have stopped playing the Rift after).
Considering pure motes grinding makes at least 2x more of what I got, it's like 100 hours to max out the Rift Shen's auction, which is scale of Skyblock sounds bearable.
I am currently trophy fishing and have embraced the fact I will get pity vanille (800/1000). The grind is inevitable. Expect the worst and you will never be disappointed.
@@clashfordoom 250 vamps not including lootshare only using free entries for 5/5 - 2.5m surplus - 2 extra unfanged sold(pain) grinded 500k motes so far for shens but its suuuuuuuper fast. like 150k+ per rift. Not much freetime but im hoping for rift prism in at least a few weeks. tbh its pretty reasonable as far as skyblock goes, but I liked the rift grinding a crap ton more than outside of rift.
Idk how people finish it so fast.

Why is it any less fun for ironman players? It's literally isolated from the game and you can't buy your way up with coins... I enjoyed it just fine
grind the end for grands and you're good to go, or just grind lapis for grands if you're very unlucky but very good with mining

I enjoy the rift because it is skill-based and less competitive in gathering resources (we won't talk about grinding motes hehe) but overall with game sense the rift is just so free. I have been main it since realease to brag around while my outside rift status is so bad 🤓

what is bro yapping about, the rift, albeit being very ping dependant which sucks, is a very good update which anyone can do without needing a 50b thingmabob or something like that
unironically the rift is the best part of skyblock imo, its so fun and the progression is amazing
there's a few things i'd rework, like a way to make vampires ungrief-able, mote grinding easier and shen's auction completely reworked but that's kind of it really
the entire storyline, the progression within it and everything else is genuinely so nice, thats its a genuine breath of fresh air
For me just make that item who has been transfered to normal sb cant give anymore motes, so if u wanna grind shen s action, u will need to grind motes instead of buying rift transférable item

I think the rift was pretty enjoyable as a player by yourself but its pretty terrible for content since the content is the same for everhone and theres no real differences between me grinding vamp versus a youtuber, in conclusion theres no late game for us nons to work towards and envy like in the normal game
I feel like the rift was implemented too late into the game's lifespan.
