- Just by the way, Kaede and Rantaro being shown for Danganronpa V3 does not mean that the theme is associated with them the most. I’m keeping those characters for all Danganronpa V3 themes in these compilations because many of us, including myself, have yet to know the situations these themes play in, and the trailers have made Kaede and Rantaro seem to be important characters. (Kaede has been advertised to be the protagonist, and Rantaro has the Ultimate ??? ability, in which characters with that talent have been essential characters in the previous two games.)
There are no discussions in this Ultra Despair Girls, but a remixed version of Hope vs Despair plays, so I might as well include it.
Scrum Debate is here because it is named exactly like the other Nonstop Debate themes in the soundtrack list.
Objection CROSS SWORD is not in this list though the minigame is similar to that of Nonstop Debates because it is not officially named or considered as one of the Nonstop Debate sections.

Phos Phion but without the trial itself, the mastermind wouldn’t be revealed. It left a lot of clue by the end of the chapter who the mastermind and who the killer is. People are missing the central idea of what the game is and it completely missed through ur head
Phos Phion but right in that moment where the chosen characters were already picked ultimately made the decision to stop the killing games. It couldn’t be anyone because that was their role they had to play.
Phos Phion both the characters had an important role. Amami the ultimate survivor surviving killing games which questions the remaining survivors that conflicts their flashbacks. Kaede the only one that kept the group together and promised to end the killing games which led to others fighting back against minimums but ultimately decided to kill the mastermind. Literally ALL the characters made a pact to not kill anyone. But only Kaede intended to kill the mastermind right from the start. Rantaro also put into an effect to stop the killing games. Did you even watch walkthroughs or play the video game? The characters’ flashback won’t even matter as much in chapter 1. As a whole, chapter one is the general piece of ending the danganronpa killing games
The entirety of Chapter 1 never would've been as potent if Kaede wasn't as endearing and strong-willed as she was. That chapter served as the start of Shuichi's character arc, which in itself isn't anything great, IF he didn't start out as one of the weakest characters that progressed into the strongest protagonist in the series.
Whereas every protagonist before him has only managed to defeat the mastermind, he's the first protagonist in 53 games to defeat the killing game as a WHOLE. If it weren't for Kaede encouraging him to face his fears and attempt to end the killing game, he probably would have commit suicide or ended up as a victim himself.
Yes, Kaede serves as a means to an end, but she's far from some throw away damsel in distress meant to strictly serve the purpose of motivation. She IS that motivation through her characterization, extending that hope to the people around her, even stubbornly doing so to the point where some characters become annoyed with her. She's flawed, but not interchangeable. I think you may be referring to Makoto.

You're actually correct! The original sample goes, ''So how about we put eight hours on the clock and stop that thing from now.'' Most of the time it says 'So-how-a-bout-we-puteighthours' which becomes 'Do not, don't stop the debate now' to most, but it also repeats the 'clock' part a bunch of times.

It's such a great blend between break and heat up.
They're probably my favorite of the Nonstop Debate themes.
It’s because it only plays when you finally find the blackened. It’s always intense because it went from a case of “who dunnit” to “How can I *prove* that you dunnit?”.
I like to think that only plays when the stakes are impossibly high. Like what happens next will determine the fate of the trial.

Danganronpa 3 had a track called steric confrontation (it's on second OST album, by the 18 number). It's basically discussion -break-\heat up\hope vs despair type of track. It could've been featured in this

Kiibo's ahoge is connected to the audience. It's his "inner voice." Just like Kiibo's innner voice being the audience, the protags' ahoges are connected to the player.

I actually like how there's a different theme for Perjury, it's a nice and subtle hint for what you need to do in that perticular Nonstop Debate, and I think that's pretty neat.

I love how now that V3 is out and we all know what happened, that the two characters that were supposed to be important characters ended up being the two who died first in the first trial.

The Last Trial is a re-trial of the First Trial where Shuichi is trying to clear Kaede's name and reveal the fact the Killing Game began with a lie. So in essence Kaede and Rantarou became the central pieces of the puzzle to unveil the mastermind.
Eh... Might not be a good idea to just say that spoiler like that. Regardless of how long the games' been out, some people might not have gotten a chance to play it, and these types of games are the ones where the story matters. I'm a huge fan of the series but I didn't find the series myself until the first two games plus the spin off were out.
Obviously the type of people who'd come to this video are mostly fans who've already played the game, but on the off chance this video drew people to be curious about the series, you might wanna edit your comment so it doesn't ruin things for them.
I'm pretty sure I prefaced the spoilers with a warning and plenty of space. Otherwise it'd just be impossible to talk about spoiler events period.

i could see why danganronpa v3 style is different cause, rather than the main timeline, where TTH and GD are REAL events, while v3 and the entire danganronpa franchise in their timeline is well fictional

goodbye despair took place in the hope restoration program or the other name for it to return themselves to 'normal' and not ultimate despair, which indeed were a program, which, monokuma says 'its a game'. at the end of the actual game, we can see hajime (and i guess a bit of izuru) on jabberwock island, so yeah, the events that took place in GD were real, unless you count V3 to be canon.
