The rule says that no activity is allowed until the penalty has been served. Marks fish should be weighed but not counted on the score tracker until the penalty has been served. MLF just broke their own rules!

Penalty should have been a deal breaker. Like both guys but why the penalty if no penalty?
It does feel like the fish shouldn't count until after the penalty. Otherwise, last fish penalties are completely irrelevant.
