LEG ARMS!! See Hollywood isn't the only one getting stuck 😁.
That 600 is pretty peppy!😊
Big Bud put the Yank in Yankum ropes!
Leg arms is good with the Apache
Oh, I see now. Ya bragging. 🤣
That 747 Big Bud is going to look great on your farm.
The look on your Dad's face when he said "Boy's and their toys" says it all. Great video.
the fun part for me is, he (dad) either bought the toys, or is still paying for them :D :D
@@zeilbeest me too ... they had a good tutor!
Shouldn't it be "Boys and MY toys" ??
Well said Mr Welker :)
Im like: thats what she said
Two years ago you were just a dot on the map in Montana. Now thousands of people all over the world know you and your family from your videos. It's great to see good people like you guys showing the rest of the world that all Americans are not crazy. Keep up the good work and god bless you and your family.
It does feel somewhat surreal. But we understand that we represent many involved in AG who do what we do and more. Thanks to all who follow us on this journey together. Blessings 👍
All I got to say is Welker Farms you guys are a Awesome bunch. It would be nice to hear Roberts and Leg Arms Pros and Cons on the sprayer. Nick the cons you mentioned are basically simply little things that wouldn't take much to fix or change.
Looking forward to seeing the 2 new bins up and ready to be filled.
Hundreds of thousands!!
“Boys and their toys” could not have said it better!!
"Boys and their toys" , love that part...LMAO
When you were talking about the speakers it just immediately popped into my head how my grandpa never had that on the farm and how different his review of machines would have been
thai giau English?
Now that was stuck good one leg arms dad your right the toys are fun to watch
those yankem ropes are dynamic lines -- they're like big rubber bands. the intended use is to get a running start and let the rope stretch to yank the stuck vehicle out. that way you're not relying on pure traction to overcome the vacuum of the mud.
Gotta love em. My ol girl went down this week. 57 JD 520 been starting hard i was looking at battery and my diy alternator conversion making sure that was all good. Well it was. Starter puked. Got the reman Saturday morning now to install
Legarms it happens to the best of us..
I was plowing one year and going down the field with hardly any mud and in the blink of an eye I was sitting on the transmission, and one tire is in what looked like pudding. Land tile broke and made about a 6 foot sink hole..Was an all day job to get the 5 bottom plow out.
The sun back-lighting at 15:24 really shows the nozzles automatically pulsing very well! Great footage Nick. Now if my Chapin backpack sprayer had that feature... ;)
Also Bob, "the bigger the boys, the bigger the toys!" Good to see Nick isn't the only muckraker around there.
The look on Dad's face said it all. I have been there with my two sons before. Love the video's. Thank you for sharing.
I'm impressed with your review of the sprayer. I expected you to keep Case IH happy and just say everything was great and point out a few small items. Well done.
I am definitely a CASE IH fan and love the company and products. I also have likes and dislikes with every machine I run and I want people to know I am honest and say it how it is. The sprayer is fantastic and the best I've ever ran to date, but like you saw there were a few items that I wasn't fond of but not make or break.
That bud reminds me of a big Belgian draft horse, all business!💪👍👍
One thing I’ve found to help when getting a sprayer stuck like that is fold the booms up. It transfers some of the weight to the front. Not enough to drive out but it can help it pull a little easier.
that radio. It's standard on most new semis. 1. push the bluetooth button for three seconds. it comes up with connect or buletooth enabled/disabled. use the volume knob to go right/left in the menu. 2. Add phone. 3. connected (sadly every time you turn it off/on you'll have to reconnect) 4. go to your phone in the bluetooth settings under this device look for the setting cog and set it for audio and call. I had mine set for audio only and you can stream away.
That was a really nice review of the patriot sprayer nick!!!! Really enjoyed it and the drone footage was awesome specialy during golden houre. Thank u and God bless
It's not the Apache. It's the patriot he is giving a review on
@@darkrevenger04 thanks
I met an individual that worked for a major company working on 'human interface' (I don't remember if it was red or green), but you point out a lot of items that can and should be forwarded to CaseIH for development input. I have to agree with you on the variability of the sounds assigned to different functions as selected by the operator (i.e tone, beep, ring, etc.). Great ideas that need to be passed on to the 'human interface' folks! Thanks for the great videos!
The traction control lever separates the two pumps. Forcing two motors to spin. It will always take the the path of least resistance. A lot of times the booms drag back and create leverage on the machine causing the front end to spin out. Simple relief adjustment will correct the booms
One of the “epic” welker videos. Harvest is usually the best, or Colby riding fender during planting. But you folks just have that gruv and you hit it on this one.
Aim command pro is awesome. Best coverage and efficient sprayers out there.. pwm nozzles, easy rate control, nozzles turn off when crossing over lap.. and easy to calibrate too..
We have a Hardi Saritor 4800 which is mechanical drive and we can widen it to 4m. The chassis is based on a Miller Condor.
Boys and their toys!! Well put....this was a fun episode to watch. Leg Arms you’re adorable! Love your humor, and Nick, well, let’s just say you rock!
Stuck sucks. Love the videos. Just got my Cowfart T shirt from Tim the Dairy Farmer. As with skiing...if you ain't crashing, your not trying hard enough.
Not that often you see an honest review on a RUclips channel of a machine listing the good and not so good points. Normally it’s look at what I’ve got and this is why I think it’s great. Keep up the good work 👍
Mr. Welker...an Academy Award performance!
"Boys and their toys", nice ending!
Man this music is chosen perfectly. Nick and whoever else is editing those videos, you're doing an amazing job. And to all of you running the cameras: well done. I enjoy watching your videos so much. Thank you all for your positiv energy. Stay strong guys
Thanks a ton!
You can disable the sound on that monitor (push the bell notification, should be disable sound check mark), also you can connect bluetooth to that stereo to play music (source to bluetooth, push the volume knob in, scroll to add phone and it should pair).
Bob you taught those boys how to play with them toys 😎 farm life is awesome thanks for all you guys do as always!! We appreciate you and all the farming families across our great nation 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
❤👍
Leg arms should build wheelie bars for the combines
Ive not commented much lately because I did not want to pit some dumb random stuff in the comment line.
I actually had a belly Laugh at the closing comment done by Papà Welker. That was funny. I pray for you guys all the time. Since the oilfield died I have become a grain hopper operator. All 3 of my trucks are now running grain hoppers. I haul Urea, Potash, Sunflower, Corn, Red Hard wheat, and yup, pea gravel too. Not to mention White lime. I wash out after lime though.
So far, I am loving it. My last load was Harrold, South Dakota to Navasota, TX. Black Sunflower oil seeds for the bird feed.
Thank you for All you guys do. 👍😎😁
Hey Jerry, thanks for the tricking service to ag. Real respect for you guys 👍
Thank you Mr. Weller.
Darn auto complete. Always makes me post thongs I don't Nintendo.
Welker not Weller. Sorry.
@@jerrysantos6484 agree. I see I "said" tricking instead of trucking 😁
@@RobertWelkerFarmerBob I am laughing out loud on the inside. Really Loud quietly on the inside. I need a restroom.
Hahaha.. Love you guys. Always in my prayers. 👍😁😎😷
Prefect comment from Dad at the end
Don't feel bad, LegArms!! I buried my dad's Ford Major tractor in an alkali bog when I was 13!! Was discing up Potato field for winter and the bog was on the edge.. I thought I'd cleared it when I felt the right side sink!!
Bro the shots that these guys take are just INCREDIBLE!!!
Dad is the best!!!!!!!!!!!
Scott you knew 54’ to the right you went through it once and appears to have made it 😂 that should have been your warning. Love the dad outro 👍🏻. God bless you guys from GA.
Love the way Leg Arrms almost called himself Scott. Hahaha! Good catch & correction there guy! 🤣👍
Having operated multi-million dollar pieces of electronics equipment (LoRAN-C) back in the seventies our equipment had different light colors for equipment piece status. It was most helpful. Now-a-days with multiple-layer screens not only having different sounds for different issues on these computers would be very good but having sectional status colors down side border tabs would also help the hard of hearing farmers to find and address the issues at hand.
Glad to see everyone seems to be doing good things look like they are going to be be a good season for your planting getting stuck and no breakage is a bonus keep up the good work!!!
Drop a bright orange earplug in that tube. Works for us.
The Big Bud sounds awesome Nick. Your Dad is gonna skin your head for driving it like that!LOL!
Oh yeah, being able to increase your vehicle width is also nice for stabilization of the entire vehicle when well, on rougher terrain
When Leg Arms does a job, he doesn't fool around he doe's it right..lol Looks like the Yankum ropes work great.
Y’all gettin s nice rain right now, Monday night 9pm cst. Hope it gets all the planted acres
Enjoy channel
I honestly think they finally leveraged some of the same ideas that were applied to modern tanks with barrel stabilization for the boom. It makes sense in that you already have a gigantic hydraulic power source for the hydrostatic drives and pumps, and like you said it keeps the boom from clanging and bouncing around meaning less wear and tear.
We have the same Apache sprayer. We find that for herbicide, putting larger tires on the rear helps a ton with both compaction and not getting stuck. I can’t remember off the top of my head what size they are, but they definitely aren’t the pizza cutter wheels. Other than that, the Apache sprayer is a damn fine sprayer in my opinion.
Great video Welkers
Look like fun guys be safe out there
If you run with your wheels all the way out , it takes the side to side whip out of it so it runs a lot steadier on your booms.
I like the placement of the dolly wheels. They interfere before the boom hits something.
I forgot how long the sun stays up in Montana. Man I love your state!
20:28, Just flippin' buried it, nice job boys!
I could see Robert showing up and shaking his head boys and your toys now get it out and throws them 2 shovels and a tow rope. Robert Welker your comments are epic and one of my bucket list things is to meet you and your family.
Nick, when you said the boom Dosent wigle around, but comparing to your sprayers. Your booms will wigle more because there older, so parts are worn. Instead of brand new.
Glad to see you guys pull the sprayer properly
I am not a farm but love to see that you like the sprayer thanks for the video
Beautiful sprayer.
I love seeing the sweet grass hills in the background 👍
You can stream bluetooth to the radio i do it in my 4440 all the time.
I keep saying “I don’t get stuck often but when I do I’m going to wish I had one of those yankum ropes” they are pretty nice
Good video liked the review of the sprayer. I have s Steiger 500 and your comments about the software is right-on Case needs to upgrade software engineering talent.
That 600 Bud is an absolute sweetheart!! 😍
I worked as a farmhand when I was in High School. (1982) I was plowing one day, driving one of those super big giant Case tractors, pulling discs, and I just was determined to plow as close as possible to that water hole that had formed in a low spot of the field. I got too close. Those big wheels sunk. I got stuck. It sucks. Middle of nowhere. No Radio. Cell phones didn't exist in those days. The boss rarely came to check on me.
That true the bigger the boys get the bigger there toys are! Love it
Great dad boys and their toys
I love to here your dad's comments!
I know you gents are sponsored by case, but Hagie makes the finest sprayer. It's all opinion, but having the boom up front is a massive plus! Everything about them feels "just right". Maybe someday you'll get the pleasure of demo'ing one?
There must be a lot a satisfaction with living and working with your boys on a farm while watching the grandchildren grow-up.
It is a dream come true ❤👍
Those chickpeas must be the "Welker" variety - you can stomp on em and they will just pop back up!
Dad's quote at the end (boys and their toys) was great! Perfectly delivered!
Nick that was some great videography there when you were working towards sunset starting at minute 15!! That's beautiful country and your excellent camera work does a great job of showing that. That's a very professional looking video, you do a great job!!
Classic Bob quote at the end, that's one like from me.
To connect to the sprayer's radio: hold the Phone button on the radio until "ADD PHONE" is displayed then press the dial to select it and the radio will appear on your phone when searching for BT devices to pair.
hahaha boys and there toys thats a good one
Didn't y'all bury that Apache the same way a few years ago lol oh well at least you had the equipment to get it out of the mud God bless yall and I hope y'all have a great harvest
Yeah, Hollywood Nick was just about to hop onto road, but got stuck in ditch.
13 minutes in and I notice your shirt. It’s hilarious.
I was stuck spraying to...its really wet out there. Lol I noticed your shirt Haha
That does look good with the wide stance.... Great looking machine
I suppose the sprayer was designed to be used everywhere from yorkshire in the uk to minnesota when big brute was with the idea of a big bud, customised to your farm
Yes, it fits the farm
The big bud had to save the little one lol 😂!! Amazing vid!
Yay Welker farms is finally stuck!! Maybe use the yankum rope
I bet that call was your wife to tell you the kite festival is back on and to get home quickly.👍🇦🇺
Yes you can stream your phones audio. Hit sourse then turn dial till you see bluetooth then click the knob again
You can go into the Raven monitor and turn off some of the beeping for some of the motions so it dosent beep as much.
You should put a glittery purple wrap on the buds
I was gonna say that the R4045 has the outside booms that are break away which once if you hit a tree with the outside boom its snaps back and goes back into position again I would recommend trying a R4045 its almost the same thing as the Case but I would try the R4045 if I were you but that's completely up to you and the farm
Nejhorší je, že to nečekáš ... Ale zase jste to zvládli jako profíci ! Well done brothers !!
I’ve ran the raven viper 4 for about four years now. Unless they added it to the latest software update you can’t change the sound. I really hope they do add more sound options soon. It does get rather annoying.
I have a 1010 and I did the same thing the other day. Identical! I was told to hook around the front axle so I double looped around the middle and we pulled it right out with a chain. I had almost 800 gallons on. That's how I was told to do it but whether that's right or not I don't know. I was a little nervous
God bless America
Love that big brute tractor it's so nice sounds so good
That was a great way to end that video Bob! I laughed!
Level gauge easy fix just simple as using a bobber that will fit and float up and down
I know I'm late. But the hydro power on the Patriots is not as good as the Deere R Series machine. The mirror can't be mounted on the rail because it vibrates like crazy. I ran a 4430 for about 40,000 acres and a R4045 for 20,000. The ride in the Deere was light-years better. The case booms are nice and smooth. Overall both are good machines
One thing about watching you guys is that if you make a mistake you show it! So- Scott got stuck. Pull him out and go on! I loved watching the "burning the coal "
at the end!
Biggest killer to hydro’s from my groundscare experience is not running the engines/pumps at the correct speed, flat out on the hand throttle is not going to hurt it, the guys who put the lever up then back a touch are the hydro killers. Regular filter n oil changes obviosly are key too.
The chick peas are like grass and grass pops back up and doesn’t get packed down!
I run a Case 4430 sprayer for a living this time of year. I'm surprised one of your complaints wasn't the rear cab post obstructing your view of the boom. We run 90 foot booms maybe that is the difference. Overall a great way to spend 12 hours a day.
Ed Harnish 120’s are easier to see. Do you have your boom lead set a little ahead ?
The visibility of the booms isn't amazing but with 120ft I can see the ends easily.
PUT A LITTLE SPRAY COLORANT IN THE SOLUTION.
