In our family, everybody is given their personal watter bottles from a very young age. It really helps the kids to develop a sense of responsibility for their personal hydration. "Where's my bottle? Do I need to refill it?", etc. We make sure the bottles are sturdy enough to endure hiking trips and similar activities and take them everywhere we go (we also use them at home).
With You as a Dad ( Happy Father's Day Brother) should Your Children get separated from You, when You find Them They'd have a tree fort, fire, and a hot brew to serve to You.
If you’re expecting them to start a fire, include a stick of fat wood. It will make it easier to start a fire. Myself, I always have a tiny baggie of fat wood splinters to help get that first fire started. 😊
thats a good survival kit and they also sell survival bracelets so if you get lost you put it on, one im looking at has an LED light, Compass, firestarter, saw, whistle, 10 ft paracord, wrench, screw tool and its 14 dollars
I agree but the majority of Victorinox knives have non locking blades, it's easy for them to fold in/cut you, even the screwdriver attachment can fold in/hurt if you need to apply some pressure on a screw. I'm in the UK, we have a crazy law when it comes to being able to carry a locking folder, I'm totally against this. Non locking folding blades and saws etc are dangerous to the user, teach kids this too if you are stuck with having to use such tools.
I'm not saying that a child shouldn't be able to survive independent of an adult in a separation scenario. Like if you vanish down an abyss and they need to carry on and make it back. What I will say is as far as a child goes, I'm giving them a PLB on top of all those gadgets. I'm also not straying so far off of the beaten path that I exceed the capabilities of the people around me.
You jest but some sort of takedown pellet rifle shared among them for rabbits and such, along with training on how to make snares and other traps, might not be such a terrible idea in case of an extreme bush survival scenario
Unless your kids are 12+ and well taught, this is incredibly stupid haha 😂 the first time they’re out of your sight they’ll set that down and never go back for it. Unless you just wanna waste money and build kits for nothing, I guess in that case this is a great idea haha 😂👍
It’s all in how you train and work with them. I put a lot of work and effort into helping my children learn how to use things. My kids and my friends kids use their kits all the time. I have a 9, 11 and 13 year old.
These people who make these videos and have never tested the gear, especially with their kids. Sol bivvy. Tested and failed. Ferro rod. Not easy to use for small weak child if they can use at all. Compass? To what end. Are your kids trained to use it cuz obviously you arent if you didnt include a map. This is an example of youtube survivalist. Someone who has never been out in the bush testing this gear

You are Great Parents. You are teaching skills and Responsibilities.❤❤❤
@@sportsmobile8328Thanks so much!😁
@@sportsmobile8328thanks
Wonderful micro managing/helicopter parenting version of what survival and responsibility actually is
I wish you were my dad. I would have loved to have this as a kid

That’s all really good. But I’d also add a gps beacon that they could turn on when they get lost.
Thanks for making the video.

Great point. You have to make it as fool proof and as easy as possible.
The Wazoo fire card had that covered without the bulk of fat wood.
Very great kit for a kid or an adult
Great kit
Love it. Thank you
Would really like to see a longer vid on this. Great work. Thank you Jason
Nice kit
Neck kit is solid, idea appropriated.
Good stuff. My only problem is the bank line wrapped around the neck. Could be an accident waiting to happen.

Dog heard the word beef and came straight over :)
I want to see a video of all the kids starting fires and setting up a poncho lean-to. I would hate to use that small ferro rod.
I’ll try to slip some clips of them doing both in an upcoming video.
Having a small phallus...i mean flashlight is honestly all you can ask for.
I probably switch out the fixed blade with a boy scout Swiss army knife. I would also show my children how to use all the tools on it.

I've got stuff like that.. I've got a bag ready to go just in case..
Just curious... how old would a child have to be to have a pack like this? Do your children know how to use each of those tools and what to do?
9, 11, and 13. Yes, they know how to use the items.
Better find or create survival hat put flashlight on it,food cup, fire & Aid kit,
If they have been trained
And all the training to go with it right?
Does anyone have a link to getting this ?

Looks great. However, depending on the age of the kids some of that stuff they probably won’t know what to do with.
A canteen, cool clear water🤠💦
❤May Jesus Bless❤
No assault rifle???

Mmmm..trash really 😂
Need to add some Israeli bandages and some gauze. A gun and a few extra magazines wouldn’t hurt either.

Yep. Not to mention the choker around the neck.
