2:05 Banjo's appearance here actually predates Banjo-Kazooie in the same way that this is Conker's first appearance. So strange to think about. Edit: Oh yeah! I always forget Tiptup is in this game as well! I guess this is HIS first appearance too!
@@GameCircleTv Absolutely! I always wondered if Wizpig was going to be in Donkey Kong Racing. I also wonder how much of that game was actually developed before Microsoft's acquisition of Rare in 2002. Barrel Blast was a huge disappointment and I never played any of the Gamecube DK games but it's such a shame what happened to the Donkey Kong franchise. Outside of the Returns games (which has already been over 10 years ago), they haven't really done anything with the great ape. Also, I've always found it curious that they switched Diddy Kong Pilot to another Rare series. No idea why they wouldn't just stick with Diddy. Either way, Banjo-Pilot/Diddy Kong Pilot never looked to good to me personally.
So. Microsoft fumbled big time. And miss the opportunity to get possibly the best kart racing . I heard the diddy kong racingcremake on ds was an abomination. You have to blow to use boost. Who the id... ahem... the one who decided that?
I miss Diddy Kong Racing and I think it deserves a sequel.
Would the focus on Donkey Kong work or just a sequel for Diddy Kong?

Lol yea they wanted to use all functions available on the DS. You could turn the feature off at least, which I would have done because I mean, come on
