frutanegra I am aware of this and have watched this video many many times, that doesn’t stop it being one of the best versions of the song ! The performance at the Nobel Prize concert is also a stunning version of Broken - also recorded a few years ago 🙂

The first time I heard this song was when it was coming out from a man's headphones in the library, and I had to ask the man what the song he was listening to was. He had to look it up - he didn't even know what he was listening to. I'm so glad I asked him about the song because it is so beautiful!

I can only think he had really bad management advice between the first and second album - there was a time when I thought he was going to catch up with Ed Sheeran and they would be the new Oasis versus Blur.
He was very young, but I think he lacked the material desire. Must be embarrassing seeing your mates around Clifton and you’ve got nice flat, nice car, nice clothes, gadgets, holidays. Who knows
