I love to hear our workers singing and laughing through the day. I heard the tractor driver the other day, singing at the top of his lungs, not expecting anyone to be around. Ahhh, harvest! The reward of an exhausting year of worry and work. Glory to all of the workers!
Kyle ,you are so sweet. Beautiful, kind , smart and most of all you are a happy person . Stay bless and your family thank you for your vlogs I love it so much . ❤❤❤❤😘
omg Kylie! FAB! I just love how Italians live. I wrote a blog post about this a few months ago and why the world should pay attention to Italians. It is not difficult to work out why they live so long! I realised some time ago Italy is a country rich in 'feminine energy'' (cooking, beauty, nature, art, fashion) which is why I always feel good watching it. Ah, the bliss of the simple things in life and Guido's face eating the fried pizza just says it all! He lights up from the inside which is so cute. Lucky for him you are such a fabulous cook! Yet another gem from the film queen! 🥰 ps if my own mini series makes it on film, (an Italian version of Emily In Paris), I want you as artistic direction. ahahaha!
I went to the sagra del gambero about a month ago and marveled at the same thing - how adults and children were all having a good time together, upholding the town’s old traditions. And the food was amazing!!
Congratulazioni 👏🏼 Again, Kylie…thank you again for opening the window of your life to me! Today my eyes filled with happy tears as I watched infant to old enjoying life and celebrating living. Your talent and creativity to showcase your work, blows my mind. I especially loved seeing the camaraderie of people and children, seeing your beautiful baby boy experiencing so much happiness and joy in the lives of his parents and grandparents. Thank you! You made my day and made my week. You have given me hope to continue to reach for my goals and never give up ❤❤
This video was touching for me! I am so in love with Tuscany and now I am even planning to buy a flat in Florence! I want to make Tuscany my forever home. The vibe here it's just unbelievable! And the weather amazing, still summer temperatures! Italians are cool people, they really match my personality! This video put the smile on my face and maintained the same high quality as usual! So glad that you posted a new video, I needed to see something fun tonight! Brava Kylie! xx
Thank you Kylie and Guido with your sweet GianFranco. Healthy little bambino ❤❤❤ Absolutely loved the happiest and celebratory Italians enjoying the fruits of their labor. Vino is good for the body. Happy harvest to all the farmers. Lovely thoughtful gifts for momma and nonna. I hope you got that beautiful platter… I can imagine pasta piled high or fruit and veg too. Happy weekend my dears. ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi KYLIE❤, LOOKS JUST LIKE MARDI GRAS in 🇺🇸...so much fun in streets...loved your dad standing by statue ,eating 🍇 🍇 grapes...delightful..fun day..yes, fried dough is awesome..even with powered sugar or Carmel, or chocolate drizzled on it..yummys.. Ty for sharing the fest of the grapes...chio bella...enjoy ur week with ur family...❤😊❤
I grew up in a italian town in south of Brazil and your video reminds me my childhood. It is like being back in time. Thank you for make me feel like I was home again. ❤
We finally made it to Italy! Can't wait to find these festivals - the first - bringing down the cows in Castelrotto tomorrow! Love these traditions. Well done Kylie!
What a wonderful day of celebration and appreciation! Italians do it best! The fried pizza dough looked incredible. My mouth is watering! Thanks so much for sharing this tradition with us❤🥰❤
The best video you've ever done---my favorite! Italians could teach the world how to enjoy life. The 2 best things were the homemade decorations on the farm vehicles (oh, I so want an Ape!!) and little Gianfraco, just calmly taking it all in. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I've been to two festvals. The chocolate festival in Perugia and the chestnut festival, by steam engine, in Marradi. Both were charming, not over crowded, but a little chilly so be prepared! So much fun!
😅Such a fabulous & joyous video. 🎥👏👏 What a wonderful celebration of the Italian appreciation for la dolce vita. 🍇🥖🧀🍷🥂 I laughed a lot & wished this community spirit for the simple things occurred more often in Australia too. 😄 Thanks again for sharing your creativity.❤️
God bless the both of you guys and bless your baby I remember that you where alone know you have a beautiful family much blessings and good health kiss your baby 👶 love always baby Mark
As always, Kylie, you highlight such beauty in your embraced home, history and culture. This brings back memories of our Italian neighbours who used to make wine with my dad. It was a celebration each year and so much fun. Maybe he tried to create & bring a slice of Italy back home to Australia. I’ve been drawn to the warmth and excitement of Italian culture and friends ever since. Today it makes me reminisce and miss my beloved dad. You all look so happy embracing these joys of life!
Thank you. It was so much fun to see and listen to people, laughing and singing and eating together! What a fun festival… Some thing everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Thank you for bringing that experience into my life.❤
Fried pizza dough...cool. I remember seeing the "italians" making it in their "Festa da Uva" here...actually, they are the descendants of the first italian settlers in Southern Brazil along the XIX Century....my wife happens to be one of them... 😎🍷🍕🍕🍕
In my little village Borno in Valcamonica we celebrate the transumanza at the end of september. Cows, sheeps, and goats are coming down from the alpeggi to pass the winter in the shelters. All the community is coming together to celebrate this ancester event.
Beautiful! Beautiful! I have been emotional 2 weeks in a row now watching your vlogs (FILMS!)! Loved the shot of your father from a distance eating grapes - sooo happy! My sweet mother made fried dough on "meatless Fridays" with lentil soup when we were growing up - we called it pizza fritta! Brava again, Kylie!
Buongiorno buonasera hello my darlings Kylie Guido Gianfranco It’s a wine festival the atmosphere is alive with music glasses of wine fresh grapes and that fried pizza bread delish😍👌Gianfranco just adorable on his daddy’s shoulders the best view in the festival there’s the God of Wine such a wonderful festival bringing generations together in their veins and the antique market just perfetto Guido so thoughtful with the gifts Grazie Mille so enchanting as always Alla prossima amore💖💖😘😘👌👌🌟🌟
OMG! The friend pizza dough is the closest thing I have seen to Nana's Vastedda!!! She used to make simple bread dough and make several loaves of bread, a pizza, and Vastedda that she would fry and then serve stuffed with squash flower, egg, peppers, manesha (mustard greens). I used to get my Vastedda with butter and sugar as a kid. Such fond memories. 😊😊😊

Oops STYLE
Mmm the scent of grape!
As a child my favorite erasers were the grape scented erasers.
On my travels to Italia I always hope I’m going to run into one of these festivals. If I could find a list with dates and locations, I would plan a whole vacation around them. The food, the chatter and the pride is wonderful!
Look up the word ‘sagra’ and the month you’re travelling and you will usually find something. 😊
Amo da morire il mio paese
Love it!!! I hope you having a great afternoon..
Was there a mass offered in thanksgiving to God for the crops which were being celebrated? That’s the usual beginning of the festival activities❣️
we call that fried bread dough cresha! its wonderful
