What a weird amount of effort put into this pretty new and fairly obscure character design. A lot like that armored Daredevil which was better than the Spiderman of that Spiderman wave. Why do obscure Daredevil designs get special treatment, while the classic one gets the short end all the time. Also why is this one in a Spider-Man wave ??
They keep avoid more articulation on females, at least they should add the new waist joint, or something else.
Nice review! I love that they gave us a figure with new pieces, but there's just too many things about the design of this character that I don't like. It's just overdone for my tastes, and kind of goofy looking. More to the point, I really dislike that tiny little head, and how it floats above the neck stomp! It looks like someone cut her throat! YUCK! The stiff, plastic scarf mask doesn't work, and doesn't make sense anyway, since she's already wearing a mask. With here weird ponytail synched hair, it's just a lot of clunkiness, design-wise, and I don't like how the scarf interferes with the head movement one bit. Hasbro really needs to start considering soft goods if they want to compete these days.
All I can say is this: Not my Elektra! lol. That said, it's still a very nice review of the figure, and you covered everything very well. Some may like this one, but I passed on it, and have no desires to ever have it in my collection. The fact that Hasbro did it though, shows that they're making some efforts to do more characters, which I appreciate. I'd love to see them give us the many villains and heroes that have been overlooked all these years, like the U-FOES, Inhumans like Triton, Crystal and Gorgon, StingRay, Jack of Hearts, Graviton--the list goes on and on.
As an artist, I think u have a fair shout in calling this one over-designed. The too long neck peg is also embarrassing.
Could see this one going on clearance in store like many who are not as popular or well known. At a little less than MSRP, I would get it. Fairly good figure that is easy to replace with fabric. Great thorough review!
She really needed that new Black widow articulation...oh well. Maybe mafex will tackle her one day.

The character is pure rehash. But marvel legends did a okay job.
I just remembered why I stopped watching this channel. All you do is complain about Hasbro products but you buy them anyway full waves all the time. Why do you keep buying them if all you do is complain? At some point you can’t keep blaming Hasbro for selling stuff you apparently hate but continue to buy. No one is forcing you to buy this stuff. It’s weird.
