I'm starting to see that I have one or two "definite" symptoms of BPD, but the way these doctors and therapists describe bpd patients as a whole, and seeing the way people in comments under videos describe them, I am thinking there has to be something that is entirely different than bpd which carries a couple of things (splitting, remorse, fear of abandonment) but *does not qualify* as bpd.
the problem is that it is an excuse for parents to leave children to themselves staring into the air, to say that it has to do with neurons. I know that people working on youtube might have autistic kids, and they want to erase my comments. but the thing is that babies need a connection to their parents to feel that they exist, if not they will disappear, living inside their heads. Also if the parents do not recognize the baby as a person different from themselves, if they do not read and understand the baby.
this describes the third mental disorder which is not psychosis or neurosis, but personality disorder. Makes us understand why the chemical imbalance approach doesn't work for personality disorder.
Love this video. I have BPD myself and have been watching Anthony Bateman a lot. I find myself convinced now that I need to try this treatment. I think it gets to the bottom of how I perceive my own impairment in functioning and gives meaningful tools to recollect my personality functioning. (also enjoying a lil collection of bots here in the comments, every one of which is progressively more insane than the other)
