They knew they could take her for a ride. So they took advantage of her situation. Looks like some self esteem issues are there. On the plaintiffs side.
Yes! I think they told her to get microlinks instead of vixen weave because they could get more money out of her. She could've even gotten a full customized lace wig for cheaper than that.
Nah. The stylist finessed her. This lady walked in asking for a vixen instillation which cost way less that a micro link instillation. So this stylist saw a dollar sign on her head and coaxed her into getting micro links and without properly educating the client about the process and what to expect. Also the stylist installed the wrong type of hair In the clients head. And yes they were placed too far to the scalp. Anyone that has been properly trained knows this. Micro links 101!! Placement!! In my opinion the stylist was completely negligent in this case.
Then at the end the stylist was talking about buyer's remorse as though there was nothing wrong with what she'd done. I'd definitely not want to go to that salon.
The defendant hussled that lady for a more expensive hair style. So wrong. But that lady is very soft spoken and should have 'softly' told her to "Fix my shit thank you kindly" before she left the salon.

I haven’t finished the video yet but I had to stop when Faith said “I don’t see about the hair color” girrrrl 😭 that color looks like a 1 and she is at least a 1B or a dark 4, don’t do that faith 😭
Yeah the salon owner got over on her. The vixen sew in is no where near the same price, its much cheaper! It was very obvious that the extension didnt match her real hair.
Tavon Fenwick girl really ALL THAT because he had an opinion?? I agree with him 1000 on hair is ridiculous even if it is HER money. Just like a rich person buying gold toilet paper is ridiculous. Her natural hair is pretty but its still crazy and how can u compare ur situation with urs u had a hell of a reason to do that she probably did it just because!! Opinions we all have 1 so stop getting mad cause other ppl have 1 that u dont agree with!!
They lady came in the salon KNOWING what she wanted , a vixen sew in , the stylists that were there talked her into something else. When you’re not familiar with the EXACT name of the style and you know how you want to look , you can be manipulated into what others may make it “sound” like..
No stylist should be putting microlinks in natural hair. Really, people with textured hair shouldn't use them at all but if you insist, it needs to be on straightened hair. It was bound to be a mess. Curly hair is going to snag and tangle all over those damn links.
This stylist was trying to get her money without being concerned for the integrity of her clients hair. She didn’t do them correctly whatsoever and any hairstylist doing black hair shouldn’t recommend it for someone looking to wear their hair natural ever due to the damage it can cause and no one wants breakage showing like that.
Any time I see them installed the hair is straight and when they’re installing curly hair so you can wear it curly or straight they put the itip in curly and then straightened it. So the clients hair is always straightened while doing it. It’s an interesting process
We never know. Could’ve been a time-sensitive situation where the plaintiff wasn’t able to get to her usual stylist(the witness).so that said, sometimes we feel we HAVE to settle for the next best thing; CLEARLY, it doesn’t always work out..
The Stylist is lying. She came in knowing exactly what you wanted she wanted the Vixen sew-in they talked her into something she didn't quite know about because it was more money
My rules of hair, never let anyone talk you into a style you are not familiar with. Stay within your price range! I seriously have been misled by plenty of stylist, whether it was trusting they knew how to do a particular style and come to find out when they are in my head they actually don't, them changing the price when it was time for me to pay (now I only bring the exact amount because people are greedy), or them going with me to the store to help me purchase hair for a weave (when I specifically state I want good quality hair, i just was not knowledgeable about hair quality) then the hair is horrible, stiff and scratchy quality after a few days. I have serious trust issues when going to any black or African salon for this reason you don't know the person's angle because of all these shenanigans.

It's not up for the client to articulate that is your job. Your the stylist, for her to be in the field for 10 years that is bullshit. That is why we have a thorough consultation to prevent that.

kcototheyoyoyo but she was very clear with what she wanted. A vixen sew in. Then the stylist she manipulated her into spending more money instead of doing what was best for her hair.
Her hair texture wasn’t right for microlinks anyway. A vixen was her best option. It’s sad I can tell how the plaintiff can be easily manipulated into the microlinks but this should be a lesson.
I’m wondering why the plaintiff didn’t just ask her friend to do her hair, if she was good enough to be her witness?? She’s also a stylist, so it would’ve made more sense to just ask her friend to do the style she was looking for.

Maddie Kane Hi Maddie. I have no idea if you are a child or just an unreasonable person. I plus at least 14 other people who gave thumbs up see nothing wrong with WTFSAB's comment. She was giving her opinion. Your comments are clearly understatements. Of course, that is Judge Faith's court and she can (almost) do or say what she wants. I, too, notice that Judge Faith have asked a question of either party and then interrupts the person as he or she attempts to respond. What I understand about these shows is that although the cases are real, I believe a little bit of drama is created because it's TV. Additionally, I believe that sometimes how the person begins to answer the question is enough for Judge Faith to determine the information she is seeking. I notice a lot of other judges in TV do this. Have you watched Judge Judy's TV show? My point is that WTFSAB typed an opinion that was true to her experience when she watches the show. Let's all just enjoy the entertainment, learn some law, and hopefully have some compassion for people who have aired their drama for thousands of people to see.
I believe the plaintiff when someone is being untruthful I don’t cry I do get agitated and behave unmannerly but I love her humbleness. That defendant is a pathological liar an is very good with her manipulation she’s trying so hard to convince the judge
a lot of these stylist tries to convince people who arent necessarily hair savvy and the they cant articulate or get their point across and stylist they give attitudes and doing your hair should be theraputic and relaxing and no one needs the stress so a lot of people dont speak up which sucks these stylist charge a lot and they arent always the best at customer service
pattie Ed Very well said, Pattie. It certainly does appear that this particular defendant saw an opportunity to take advantage of the plaintiff’s obvious inexperience with/ lack of knowledge regarding hair weave. As a result, the stylist used the plaintiff’s naivety as an opportunity to up sell her on the more costly micro links installation rather than the less expensive vixen installation she originally requested.
The texture of her hair seems fine so I can imagine a style like the microlinks would cause too much strain on her scalp. I have fine textured hair too and we have to be extra careful with styles because our hair can't take too much tension.
The hair stylist lied big time!! I would never give a client ANY style but the one they asked for. She preyed on this client!! If my client don’t have a picture then I’d help her find one. Just horrible.
I spent $300 once for some hair that looked absolutely horrendous I was in tears before leaving and the woman still wouldn’t do my hair over at that point I made the decision to do my hair myself and wear mostly wigs and my natural hair best decision ever made a lot of hairstylists are thieves and will finesse you in getting bs done then rob your money
For 1000dallars gets your self a wig stand wig head whatever requires and make it yourself am sure they would be some changes left to buy a frock and shoes
The still shot of this episode gets me every time 😂 it looks like someone just cussed her out and farted in front of a fan pointed her way 😂😂😂 lemme stroll down memory lane again with this one 😄
I think she was hassled u well knew that was no the right choice for her u shroud have given what she wanted the vixen, and to show no remorse horrible stylist
True. She took advantage of the lady because she knew that the plaintiff was clueless about hair. The defendant sounds like a good liar and con artist.
Kimeshia Pitter that lady doesn't have enough hair to have a vixen. Vixen sew ins are more for women with med length hair. That length provides the most realistic look.
prissybell16 shrinkage is real lol. Her hair is most likely longer than that. However her might be harder to blend with the weave that’s probably why a vixen wasn’t suitable enough. Nonetheless she could’ve gave her a vixen
Raven Walton I know about shrinkage but it still wouldn't be suitable for her in my opinion. Her hair looks very damages and a natural vixen you should have at least shoulder length hair. I've never seen any bundles that would blend with her texture hair (unless she wears her hair straight) otherwise it would look just as bad having so much hair left out along her perimeter and the middle. She should just get a full sew in with a little leave out so it would be easier to blend or use a closure.
The stylist didn’t know what the hell she was doing, in the video where she was showing the color that shit looked a mess. And the judge is putting too much responsibility on the client and not the PROFESSIONAL who suggested that style completely disregarding what the client wanted. Black women have no business getting links, especially natural black women, and that “stylists” should’ve know better.
I wish I would pay $1000 for a hairstyle...that I don't even like! But honestly, if you do spend that kind of money not only should you be sure you like the style, but you also should talk to your stylist about how to style/maintain and what steps to take in upkeeping the hair
This case was handled horribly. The "stylist" scammed that woman who came in knowing exactly what she wanted. Why didn't the judge ask the "stylist" why she didn't just give the client the Vixen hairdo she asked for. The answer is because the "stylist" has been in the game long enough to spot a "mark" as soon as she enters the shop. The "stylist" likely convinced this woman the style would look the same if not better and would last longer with the links.
The vixen sewin requires your hair to be a certain length due to it having leave out in four sections of leave out so tbh i feel like it’s her fault for not doing her homework on the hairstyle she wanted
The defendant... pissed me off lol the woman came in asking for exactly what she wanted which was a vixen sew in. You offered her an entirely (more expensive) different service. Those micro links were trash & not the right texture at all! she’s got 4a/4b coils & she gave her what looks like some 3b Peruvian. Those 2 days don’t matter, if your hair is jacked up after 2 days & you paid $1k...man I’d be wanting a refund too. That woman is a damn actress...
Chase Gibson even if she got the vixen it still would have been messed up because they don’t have the right texture hair in that lady’s salon to match her clients hair
She didn’t do no homework what! By the time I walk in a salon and paying that much I done research the stylist looked at the reviews found her on Facebook and thought about it another 2 months before going and I got several pictures of what I want.
She wanted a vixen which is versatile as well as the professional she knew what was best for her hair they did finesse her to get more money they knew she shouldnt have gotten micro links
I wanted to try links but I'm currently to selfish to pay someone that much to do my hair, the highest I've paid for getting my hair done was $240 (even that's too much for me but it was my birthday)
Her hair is fine that’s her natural hair curls and anyone that’s natural can see she has a slick head scarf that’s not going to brake her hair and also her hair isn’t frizzy asshole In the court room
She was hoping those tears would bring more dollars..... it was looking like she wasn't going to get anything.... until the defendant Volunteered that information. (fast talked her way out of $450)
the hairstylist finessed the client and put a whole show on in that court. she turned her professional voice on 🤣 straight lying, how you only sell virgin hair but have pack hair in right now
This is why I wear my own natural hair!! Do you know how many Shea Mositure and Cantu products I could have for $1000?!?! How many bottles of Jamaican black castor oil?! Man please!!
Judge Faith acting like she knows nothing about hair... Cut it out judge that nice hairstyle on your head is some type of weave/extension in there. I know you know we know girl 😉
Looks like judge faith has natural hair Don't be jealous lots of black women including me (bring from Somalia) have beautiful natural hair just know that 🙄🙄
Naomi That is her natural hair. She straightens it. Look at her hairline. You can see her hair is kinky curly at the roots where it's near impossible to get to and is especially noticeable on women with really curly hair. She definitely treats it with something, though. It looks incredibly healthy.
'Virgin' or not, Brazilian or Peruvian 'hair' will never match her natural hair texture (no matter what technique is used) ... no such thing as 'virgin' hair, it is all chemically processed ... and the technician was running back and forth becuase the defendant was trying to make the hair Kinky, which was never going to work ...
Virgin hair isn’t color treated or relaxed but it’s definitely chemically treated to achieve the different way patterns. People who don’t know how to take care of weave let alone their own hair shouldn’t be getting weave unless they plan to constantly keep going back to the salon to allow the stylist to properly care for the hair while it’s installed.
They stylist said she was wearing micro links herself when the defendant came to get her hair done. They were probably getting a few pieces at a time bc she was in the back pulling them from her own big head lol
I've been doing hair for 14 years and that lady could've gotten a vixen sew in from the beginning. She used her to pay for a more expensive service and then used some cheap hair to clip in. I hate stylists like her and that's why I don't let nobody do my hair
For people who do not know this but let me say it again .. DO NOT LEAVE OUT OF A ESTABLISHMENT THAT YOU PAID FOR WITH A “OK” hairstyle . If you don’t like it then say it upfront ..
It BETTER be installed, styled and finessed by Jesus Christ himself for me to pay $1k for any kind of hair service.

a lot of these stylist tries to convince people who arent necessarily hair savvy and the they cant articulate or get their point across and stylist they give attitudes and doing your hair should be theraputic and relaxing and no one needs the stress so a lot of people dont speak up which sucks these stylist charge a lot and they arent always the best at customer service
pattie Ed
Very well said, Pattie.
U r so right
The texture of her hair seems fine so I can imagine a style like the microlinks would cause too much strain on her scalp. I have fine textured hair too and we have to be extra careful with styles because our hair can't take too much tension.
That texture was no where near her hair lmaooo
Her natural hair is beautiful.
plaintiff took the defendant's advice & knowledge & went with her suggestion, defendant sold her a very expensive procedure, good ruling though.
I agree, the plantiff was inexperienced and the salon owner got over on her.
They finessed her! She got played for real!
Anytime someone uses the word "installation" regarding hair, it's too much.
You're so right!
Right like damn got me thinking of cable installation 😂😂😂
@@jojolovelee4676 same 🤣
I refuse to spend that type of money on hair. The defendant shows no remorse, seeing her sarcastic response I wouldn't let them do my hair.
For 1000dallars gets your self a wig stand wig head whatever requires and make it yourself am sure they would be some changes left to buy a frock and shoes
She did that lady hair how she wanted to her hair not how the client wanted and that’s sad
Her natural hair is so much better and it makes her beautiful.
@ 3:09 the girl in the back when she heard the price is literally my reaction to
That stylist was wrong. She was smirking the whole time. Smh
The still shot of this episode gets me every time 😂 it looks like someone just cussed her out and farted in front of a fan pointed her way 😂😂😂 lemme stroll down memory lane again with this one 😄
😭😭😭😂😂😂💀💀💀💀
I hate how the judge handled this she pissed me tf off!!!
Who cares?
@@michaelstarlin6136 you cared enough to reply
@@Bookauru ok 😂😂, you got me on that one, but thats how I felt. She should of been more careful.
Daysha Gabrielle, the judge didn't do well on this episode..
She could’ve got a bomb ass wig made for the money she had spent 💯😩😩girl what do u do for a living are the hiring 🤔😂🤣
I think she was hassled u well knew that was no the right choice for her u shroud have given what she wanted the vixen, and to show no remorse horrible stylist
True. She took advantage of the lady because she knew that the plaintiff was clueless about hair. The defendant sounds like a good liar and con artist.
Anna-Kay Green she sure does! ( Those horrible acting skills).
I need to be working in a salon that charge good money like that
I'm buying me a new scalp to grow my own hair with$1000
the defendant is having fun lying 😂😂
She cheated her micro links doesn’t cost that much
I wish I would pay $1000 for a hairstyle...that I don't even like! But honestly, if you do spend that kind of money not only should you be sure you like the style, but you also should talk to your stylist about how to style/maintain and what steps to take in upkeeping the hair
1000 for fucking HAIR???!!!
amazing how people who do not have $$ get so good at pissing away $$
Exactly! She should've looked on Instagram and found someone to do vixen weave for like $200. She would've been set.
I feel really sorry for the plaintiff. Seeing how emtional she is very heart broken
The vixen sewin requires your hair to be a certain length due to it having leave out in four sections of leave out so tbh i feel like it’s her fault for not doing her homework on the hairstyle she wanted
Cam Bam nah she got finessed PERIOD
You're pretty @cambam
Whether her hair is short or not the stylist should’ve voiced that to her instead of trynna get over
I agree. She didn’t know that body wave was going to require her to do her hair everyday to blend the leave out.
Sometimes you dont realize how you like a style until a day or so
The plaintiff is SLOW and the defendant is a finesser
she op asf😂😂😂😭😭she need her license revoked doing folks like that😩😩
The defendant... pissed me off lol the woman came in asking for exactly what she wanted which was a vixen sew in.
Bomi T-ara Queen Apink Brave Girls Yuna I
Selfish?? I don't think that is selfish, that is smart. 😉😃
She needs to stop worrying about weaves and stop wearing those tight headbands. Her edges are gone because of it. 😩🤦🏽♀️
The Hitchcocks She definitely needs to treat it. It looks too dry and frazzled.
Her hair is fine that’s her natural hair curls and anyone that’s natural can see she has a slick head scarf that’s not going to brake her hair and also her hair isn’t frizzy asshole In the court room
The Hitchcocks lamookkfjfidjjdind
I like her hair
The Hitchcocks yessssss
That plaintiff crying tho was extra
She was hoping those tears would bring more dollars..... it was looking like she wasn't going to get anything.... until the defendant Volunteered that information. (fast talked her way out of $450)
☠️☠️☠️☠️
the hairstylist finessed the client and put a whole show on in that court. she turned her professional voice on 🤣 straight lying, how you only sell virgin hair but have pack hair in right now
This is why I wear my own natural hair!! Do you know how many Shea Mositure and Cantu products I could have for $1000?!?! How many bottles of Jamaican black castor oil?! Man please!!
AMEN
That lady took advantage of this lady because she knew she didn’t know a lot about hair
Judge Faith acting like she knows nothing about hair... Cut it out judge that nice hairstyle on your head is some type of weave/extension in there. I know you know we know girl 😉
Looks like judge faith has natural hair
Don't be jealous lots of black women including me (bring from Somalia) have beautiful natural hair just know that 🙄🙄
Ethiopia too. Woman in Ethiopa have that type of hair and they are beautiful AF. Very feminin and lady like they are. Love them.
actually the judge does wear weave, flip thru sum epidodes. however, her natural hair is nice and healthy 2
Genghis Khan right
Naomi That is her natural hair. She straightens it. Look at her hairline. You can see her hair is kinky curly at the roots where it's near impossible to get to and is especially noticeable on women with really curly hair. She definitely treats it with something, though. It looks incredibly healthy.
It better be a ever-lasting hairstyle for $1000
'Virgin' or not, Brazilian or Peruvian 'hair' will never match her natural hair texture (no matter what technique is used) ... no such thing as 'virgin' hair, it is all chemically processed ... and the technician was running back and forth becuase the defendant was trying to make the hair Kinky, which was never going to work ...
Y W Virgin hair is hair that has not been dyed, permed, or chemically treated before it was harvested.
She lost me @ $900 damn that!
That leave out 🤤 stylist bogus
I love how natural dark curly hair looks. And it’s disturbing to see how many women have damaged their scalps, hair, and on occasion their health. 😥
First off if the beautician that’s doing my hair, weave looks the way this lady’s hair look, she’s not touching my head.
What in the ham sandwich...smh. Paid all that money for some mess 🤦🏾♀️
5:20 😂😂 lmfao the way she and her friend reacted
That lady sounds so condescending
This is crazy. I'm not paying 1k for a hairstyle. I got bills
