  • This video shows the use of Burner Fire Control 60 Gallon Skid Compressed Air Foam Fire Fighting System (CAFS) in a demonstration response to a large pump or engine assembly. The foam is aspirated by the CAF delivery system to optimize throw range, adherence to surfaces, and also ground level migration to suppress and cool pooling hydrocarbon liquids to extinguishing all flames and re-ignitions.
CAFS are utilized in a variety of industries to extinguish incipient-stage Class A (structural and ordinary combustibles) and B (flammable liquids and hydrocarbon) fires. First Responders rely on these systems as they provide the necessary maneuverability, portability, quick start up, and simple operation.
The CAFS Foam delivery system itself is self-contained leveraging an integrated air or nitrogen propellant tank to discharge the fire fighting agent from 50 to 75 feet. With manual hose-line lengths spanning up to 150 feet, the overall system has proven to be one of the most effective tools available for commercial and industrial fire fighting mitigation.
Systems are suited for fire departments & brigades, municipal services, contract fire safety teams, oil and gas well site locations (offshore and land), hydraulic fracturing sites, tank battery protection, and fuel storage locations.
