    Avocado pudding:
    200g avocado puree
    1 ½ tsp gelatin powder
    2 tbsp water
    100ml fresh milk
    50ml coconut milk
    2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk

    1 tsp jelly powder
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 cup water
    diced fruit or cheese
    Sauce:
    100ml coconut milk
    5 tbsp sweetened condensed milk

    I love it, Helen! It's beautiful and looks so neat and refreshing! I love that ice cube tray used to make the balls round. Have you thought of partnering with Amazon to get a bit of money from advertising for them? You should consider it. :)

    Hi Helen, thanks for the recipe, it looks delicious! One question though, what do you mean by jelly powder? Is is the same as gelatin powder or the jelly powder you get in instant jelly packs? Thank you.

    Hi Helen, Just watched your video with food ranger in Danang a few days ago and the Viet food looks really good and fresh. Also I spotted our favourite Chinatown dessert store in Singapore in another video. Would you have any recommendation for really really authentic Viet food in Singapore and with lots of side veggies Vietnamese style that I used to enjoy in Hanoi and Saigon.

      I'm not Helen, but agar agar is totally fine, I normally buy the big sticks from an international foods store. You'll have to use a bit more agaragar to get a more firm texture but I personally like soft squishy but its all based on preference.

      It will change the texture of your food. Gelatin gives your food a soft texture, whereas agar makes it "crunchier", harder texture.

      Sushi 101 well..she speaks another language as a main language. Of course she has an accent. I too have an accent even though I speak English fluently due to also speaking french. I don't understand what you expect from her and frankly you're coming off as offensive.

      Her audience is people whom aren't necessarily Vietnamese so the fact that she speaks a universal language like English helps her net a wider audience. It's appreciated by many Vietnamese and other Westerners whom want to learn more about Vietnamese food.
