    Inspection tee would have done the job if you had one that is.

    I would have run 1 conduit to do both lighting and power & at piers set down off underside of joists so boxes could be mounted flat on brickwork

      You might save on a but of conduit but i find best keep it simple as in the vid. You don't need any aggro feeding more cable into some than others. With the garage so tidy aesthetics cannot be a reason. Take the point about the JBs. Do you mean you would have done matching off sets either side of the pier to ensure JB flat on pier. I think simplest here is a Tee but it is what you have on the van and planned for.
