It's good she takes them. Off during showers and other activities that could be harsh in the diamonds! Not like it's going to really be that bad for it, but it does keep it looking nice for longer periods of time after cleanings!! I do it too kate! I got engaged in May and it's been amazing. He's had mine since last November when we found it.. He then took my mom and dad's old diamond from my mom's ring and put it in the setting!!
The first kid usually is something like advertising by nature - it is relatively easy for two adults to handle one child, especially while it is young. Being two adults versus one kid means, that there usually is one adult available who has the time, strength and mental capacity to handle whatever comes up. As soon as it becomes two kids, the demand for an action-ready adult has doubled, while the adults are exhausted and also it is not anymore "the amazing first time (even if it was e.g. throwing up)". :-)
I’m 50/50 on hearing the speech. I would obviously like to hear it but I also think it’d be nice for them to keep something of their engagement just to themselves :)
