A lot of people get confused about the archer. It's on a valentine chassis, but doesnt drive backwards. The gun faces the rear because if it faced forward it would tip the whole tank. So in that case, you drive forward with the gun facing back. Are you glad I cleared that up for you?

@@Flaming_Hawk_1 I was aware of that, technically speaking however, with the arrangement of the superstructure and the 17 pounder, the vehicle is technically driving backwards and needs to be turned around to engage targets. I do concede however that mechanically speaking the Valentine chassis is driving forwards since the Archer's superstructure is placed at the front of the vehicle facing backwards.
Gotta say, I never cared much for the electric lighting but the story of that flight engineer was very interesting, where do you guys find those ?
They apparently have a dedicated team of historians.
The story is far better then what was told here, they missed a huge number of details. He didn't even have a canopy, and he couldn't bail because the saftey pins for the ejection seat were still in place.

The electrical problem was later found to be due to some left behind wiring from a removed ground test button for the standby inverter

@@labradorflytying8554 like i said, not anytime soon but maybe in the far future when more ships are added and they cant add anymore hype to the game and they are forced to fix the game or they add the submarines or usable carriers because of the arrogance of the devs and owners of war thunder.

You guys should make a test range map, kinda similar to the Hangar 21 map from Battlefield 4, but make it for tanks and planes to test on.
Idea for april fools: world war 1 tanks fighting at the somme? Or another big tank battle during world war 1

@@hyrikul602 Well, the battle of the Somme was the first time tanks were used. The french didn't have any tanks yet. If they want to go inclusive then they can add the french renaults. But if historic then only British.

@@hyrikul602 Its not that. The Renault tanks were in WWI. Just not at the Somme. After the British, only did the Germans, France and Italy copy the British tank ideas.
As much as I love some maps, I would like to see a more mountainous map with few main road/passes and such... Would you consider one?
I think it would be a nice idea to implement First Aid kits into the game to heal our read crew members and such, like my poor commander has to spot vehicles with his hand blown off. It also makes more sense that crew replenishment, where a whole new crew member just volunteers out of nowhere and comes inside your tank...
If you play the Is you’ll have some experience with using your rear as armour. It actually works really good, for some reason.

When will you add higher tier bombers
So when is the A-10 warthog being added since we now have a new guidance system for bombs and Rockets and now flares for jets
Used to do the reverse angle tactic with is2 when it had 100m rear armor, very effective. If historically accurate please make it again XD. Did that tactic in many tanks many times. Rear side scrap is possible in some tanks that are almost square as well if anyone read this comment.
Can you talk about the Lighting with a BM on the tail, known for intercepting U2s with ease and even intercepting concord

You should make a battlefield type game but with damage modules instead of hp on soldiers and vehicles I would die for that type of game

It is faster Ho-ri with little bit less penetrating 150mm RECOILLESS RIFLE and it has 50mm of frontal armor on the hull.

Pretty sure that's already a thing, try searching for it on google "how to turn off lights in night modes war thunder" or search Lights in controls
@@notbappo2435 pretty sure the lights in-game are infrared lights which can only be seen by night vision, I think tommaso is asking for the actual tank lights to be added.

Can you please rework damage model for ships? Right now futher damaging "black" segment doesn't do any damage but it should for example flood the ship.
I think you can still flood the black segment if you get shells below the water line.
@@sakthipriyadharshan242 Very unreliable. What I find annoying is people hiding behind the island with only front of ship showing. They are almost impossible to destroy.

Hello Gaijin. Why is climbing ranks (Getting RP for vehicles) so dependant on how well you and your team do and if your team wins? Playing RB and getting a couple kills while losing does still feel like an achievement to me.

Question: it feels like british aircraft are way worse than other nations, i lose almost every air realistic battle. and i love the spitfires so i only use the british tech, yet they get out-performed by all other fighters. what to do?

This is a actually a pretty good idea. But only if it could be replenished once, for one extinguisher. I think it would be a little 'op' if you could get back all extinguisher

Maybe they should first ad radar to all radar carrying aircraft. While germany already got a radar for all their radar aircraft, the Uss PBJs and the F7F are still missing their radar.

The drogue chute instead would be much more useful since Gaijin's runways are always too short, always on an "hill" so if you land too early or too late your plane will either crash into the slope or jump off of it and crash respectively

No, it doesn't have effect. It just means that the ammo is damaged and has higher chance to blow up and kill the tank when hit again.

Dear Gaijin: Im going to die because of covid-19 before your release the update
The new Swedish map is very pretty (translation errors aside), however there are so many side streets it's going to be incredibly difficult to defend areas. What's worse is that it'll be very easy for players to sneak around and spawn camp almost from the start of the game (discounting the time to drive there from their own spawns). Not only that, but modern vehicles, especially the MBT's don't suit an urban environment.
I'd much rather see maps based off of the "Desert Storm" campaign in Kuwait/Iraq, involving more open terrain with undulating terrain, areas to use as defilades to move unseen (like on Kursk). Modern vehicles excell at long distance combat, not these knife fights in cities.
