When I was a kid, my brother and I used to spend hours enjoying this masterpiece on ps2. When I tried to play it after some years, I found out that something was wrong. The game just froze at the end of the first dream for no reason. Only the camera could move. If for some reason it didn't freeze there (after many restarts) , it would freeze before another cutscene, loading for ever.

Anyways we didn't have neither A New Beginning or Dawn Of The Dragon, so basically didn't know how it started/ended, but I searched it on Google a year later

I personally think in terms of reboot this is a faithful take on Spyro. More action focused gave this trilogy a better distinction from insomniacs original games.
I finished this game 2 or 3 years before i finished it without memory card because i never had one i played 3 or 4 hours straight. The hardest boss was the pirate boss with the boat i remember i was excited. This game is one of the greatest games i have ever played.

I had the PS2 version of this. Of course I never realised the concept art was in the mini arena areas, but as it goes, I loved it. I can no longer play it, but was great fun. Might yet replace it and the console

That Gaul fight was so hard. It’s easy once you know how to do it, but man, his jump attack is brutal. It only takes one to kill you.
