I don’t know what is it but Cade and grounded is the combo that makes my day
The reason why you can’t seem to parry sometimes is because of a debuff that shortens your party window. Looks like multiple shields stacked on each other where the debuffs are. I usually switch to a staff for when I get it. And hide behind the tree to avoid attacks. This is for the mantis fight btw
About the mantis fight:
The baby mantis counts towards opening the remix.r, so you can just avoid the big one until you can kill the little one. Love ur vids btw 👍

Hey Cade here’s a fun fact you can kill the baby mantis or smaller one and if you die to the bigger mantis that’s okay and you could just go to the ng+ anyways so if you kill the baby it counts as a regular kill

Btw, on ng+ you got more chance for gold cards. On ng+7 every bug drops gold card, unless you alredy have it.

finally, FINALLY!!! I've caught up, I just went through 4 months worth of content at 2x playback speed back to back all the way from "I spent 2 hours in grounded Soulslike" to this one
Kinda disappointed that it's a grounded video though. But it doesn't matter right now, what matters is that I DID IT, I'VE CAUGHT UP!!!
if you're wondering about the disappointment it's because as you can see, I stopped at a grounded video before taking a break, a REALLY long break, I just felt too saturated with grounded content it was just too much, I'm glad that you're toning down on grounded content as well as Palworld, I would've felt the same if this video was a Palworld one too, too many videos about it, it makes my gut feel weird because of the repetitiveness, but I've caught up and I'm waiting for new non-grounded and Palworld related content

If you want to access that storage area by the javamatic, you have to fail the first final defence, because in the first run, you typically have no defence, then fail, then you gain access to the storage area to get materials.
Not sure if its been said but the scarabs in the undershed got changed to exclusively have 1hp no matter what so that they cant be farmed like they used to
Cade, for the mantis fight. You can kill the baby and then let the mom kill you and killing the baby will count for the remixr room... Keep up the amazing grounded content brutha ❤
Just to let you know for future reference you only need to kill the same mantis for the remixe door

gives me a total of +135% Fresh Damage on Hit AND a 50% Weakness to fresh...so whoever gets hit will really feel it...

I'm so glad I got a Salt Damage Up Major, Mantis Damage, and Finale Goo Glowbasa Necklace for the Mantis boss. Slowing down their attacks, so I can perfect block them much easier.
I could make you a copy of it if you need it ImCade. Oh wait that's not possible.....crap.
Cade you know your salt pick is so overpowered against assist manager, in my opinion it’s better than a sour axe with sour axe up best, plus with smasher mutation it helps a little

a good salty weapon is the salty brood mother club, closest thing to a salty axe
actually the closest is the mantis scythe with salt because you can still use chopper
i run all 3 edges and the scythe so you don’t ever have to change your build and you have every element
@@westendoud697once you get ng+4 get all elements of infused scythes. They do almost the same damage as the axes but they are faster and come with 2 effects. should also be expecting a change that will allow them to use apex predator like their non-infused counterparts, I think.
To block the scream you have to time it right it is possible tho

the closest thing to the edge weapons for salt is the mantis sythe with salt on it. it won’t be quite as good but you can use the same build and with salt trinkets it should be pretty good. you can also use the mutation for boss weapons.
With infused scythe it’s actually better than the axes. Should also be expecting a change allowing it to benefit from apex predator like the non-infused version. Will definitely be the best weapon when that happens.
Mantis is weak to salt
Broodmother is weak to sour
Infected broodmother is fresh
Wasp queen is salt
Fun fact: you can get "The quickness" on a trinket, so combining that with the Aphid Slippers and the Natural Explorer mutation lets you go extra fast
Hey cade I love these videos u make and I can tell u can get the best salt weapon and all u need to do is kill he ng+ 4 broodmother and get the infused club of the motherdemon and just upgrade it with salt globs and jewls that's all I have to tell I hope the best of luck getting to ng+ 10 for u cade. ❤❤❤❤

Btw it seems like the upside-down cross with a plus means a smaller parry window and wand with a star next to it means frost but a picture of mosquito ( i think ) means mele hits heal the boss.

Cade, having the fire ant shield dosent stack with the fire ant arm guards so you should get a different shield, hope you see this, love your videos

Before a boss fight you should use a liquid rage human food and boss sauce smoothie along with the perfect toast meal perfect toast gives crit chance and damage boss sauce gives more crit chance liquid rage is damage and human food is famage resistance to dupe the perfect toast you need 4500 raw science for the smoothies you need 1000 the boss sauce costs 2000 for some reason

I've never played this, but tbh this kinda looks like a dark souls game with the amount of strategy

@@hashbrown2972do you even know what you’re talking about? Grounded ng+ is easy when you master perfect blocks.
@@Khaizen10 yeah I'm on ng+2, you don't have to master parrying in dark souls, in grounded if you miss even a single hit you can be one shot. Let alone the extra multipliers that if they're the right combination make fights abysmal. So yes grounded is unfair and dark souls I find to be fair
@@hashbrown2972 you need to master dodging in dark souls though. You also get one shot in by almost everything on some modes in dark souls. if you just perfect block everything in grounded and dodge unblockable attacks (which isn’t as hard as it sounds) you will do just fine. Damage resist trinket + blademaster makes you take a lot less damage.
Use the club of the mother demon with salt

Now that your in new game four any boss should drop a tier 4 weapon that is infused but it is rare
try the full mantis gear including the trinket and weapon and eat a spider slider with a boss sause put on cuda da gra apex preditor and trapor peepor and almost every atack should be a crit
Hey you probably already know this but if not in new game plus 4 you can kill infused bosses and get infused weapons that are tier 4 and have special buffs. And different bosses drop different weapons.
Imcade you can find Fredrick and bobbit trap in the sands between in another crabs treasure

Hi cade big fan but if you think the mantis was hard wait until you get into ng+ 5 the mantis summons 2 smaller mantis's so you have to fight 3 mantis's and it is impossible
he said hes gonna stay in ng+4 forever

@Khaizen10 oh ok my bad before ng+ 5 I was using a glitch where if you die and respon at right outside the mantis place and run back in fast enough the little mantis dies and you can take its parts and it will say that you defeated the normal mantis but they fixed that glitch when I was in ng+ 5
