If you think its just bad then move on. I know people who shit on Apex legends for looking cartoony. It seems to me like a bit of a fragile masculinity kinda thing but..we all have our opinions.

This game is super hard on playing against controller players. There is no room to breath anywhere on the map. If You barely miss a corner you’re dead literally everytime. Make the wrong turn your dead. There is no room for error that’s for sure 😂 Headshots are almost insta kill so if your caught in a bad spot. Your dead I’ll definitely be putting some hours into this game to get better. But wow if it’s your first time playing it might be a bad experience lol. Even though dying isn’t really a horrible thing to happen. It can definitely be discouraging trying to play an objective and you run up on a dude and you’re dead in half a second. Somtimes the game feels like whoever shoots first wins lol. But it’s the first day of launch. The game will be ironed out soon. There are people on PC though, but they're on a controller. Game performs better on my laptop than it does on my xbox series S. So thanks to that pc players will still have an advantage if their game is performing better
All I encounter are bunny hopping nerds that get shot 20 times and insta melt me. My ping is the lowest in every single lobby so I’m assuming I’m getting lag comp’d to death.
I’m surprised how much I do not like the challenges to get the guns unlocked . Using a gun in maybe not the best way for several matches as it may not be the best way to do things just to get a gun that might(unless you played the beta and know) be better suited.

The SMG is awful! omfg 😭 I love to hipfire and want to so badly with it in close to very close range but the accuracy and damage of it is awful! the last game i had 21 assists... I simply couldnt kill most people even at close ranges i shouldnt have to aim down sight 1 metre from an enemy right....

It's a lot slower because this is a game they are hoping to have for a number of years. There is a new COD almost every year so you can unlock everything at a much faster rate. It feels less rewarding for sure, but maybe makes sense for the long run
those who are used to mw2 and mw3 hate xdefiant where eomm artificially helps them like cod and weakens the stronger opponent so he can shoot him. xdefiant doesn't help anyone with real gaming skills, you have to have good aim.
cod's biggest flaw is not sbmm, if not eomm it manipulates the game: you run slower, shoot slower, do less damage to the opponent, doesn't register the opponent's damage, delays the appearance of the opponent, that's why you feel like a wall hacker. Both mw2 and mw3 are manipulated, the whole system is a pay-to-win, if you buy expensive skins and subscribe, you always get more good matches in return and the skill nerf doesn't work that hard or often.
So, is it actual input matchmaking? And not the kind that cod had, which wasn't. Am I likely to face m/k players as a PlayStation player? I'm looking forward to trying this game again after the very first tests.
Ranked have Péc player mouse.. just turn off u crossplay. Controller better Pc than mouse and keyboard. Pc input lagg 0 and AIM assist controller God mode.
For all the talk of no SBMM, I was surprised to see that it actually is SBMM until you reach level 25. Also, I’ve seen comments about it being incredible to it being trash. I had a positive experience, but still a little underwhelmed by it so far.
I tried it, its ok but black ops 4 was way better in terms of specialist abilites/hero shooter mechanics and maps. Xdefiant feels like it wants to be a black ops game...but black ops games are better
This game reminds me of call of duty mobile, in a good way. The mechanically it look very similar with crazy movement. You can just destroy the enemy with your mechanics.
It looks really smooth, good movement and hit reg, TTK seems in a nice place, many occasions here you could take some damage and move off into cover to reset, unlike MW3 where even with 150 health, most deaths can feel instant with basically no chance to move into cover. Very good and nice that after such a performance, you won't be purposefully punished by the matchmaking! All it needs is KBM support on consoles which is supposedly coming some time after launch, seems like a fairly fast paced twitchy kinda game that would lend itself to KBM over a controller
The mechanics are great...if you know how to use them properly, which takes time. And with COD being as casual friendly as possible, the word "practice" has lost all meaning. I'd rather have this than the incredibly manipulative experience you people go far and beyond to protect

The Finals is a better game. And it’s also free. Doesn’t cost a penny to play. Plus, your bullets actually hit players when you shoot at them. And get this.. When you’re around a corner you actually evade incoming damage 🤯 The Finals has better devs who actually care about their game and community feedback. The gunplay, movement, abilities, and just the overall gameplay is better in just about every aspect. This is just another point and click uninspired respawn shooter with millions of dollars behind it. That fails to do something as simple as accurate hit registration. I mean seriously??? Embark works their ass off and has an obvious passion for the game the likes of which I haven’t seen since the OG days of gaming. The finals will shine. And when it does this game will be an after afterthought. And no, I’m not coping because I’m bad. I gave XDefiant an honest shot in beta A YEAR AGO!! Exactly and on top of that I play against mouse and key players and constantly out slay them. Controller is king in any game that has aim assist.

It’s a good game with a lot of technical issues. The Net code (hit detection) is the worst I’ve seen in a FPS. Certainly the worst I’ve experienced.
