So I was wondering if you could visit Jeff Williams again to make a funny intro video.. I was imagining you putting on a scuba diving mask and fill up the pit with water in Jeff Williams mine pit , you know the place where he said the red worms came out from in his mine's pit , the place where water is coming into Jeff Williams mine .. well fill it up with water and act like you came out of it lol 😂 .... Adding that Jeff would acted freaked out lol
Chig, love your videos and enjoy all of your adventures. Please stay out of those old mines. There is nothing in them that's worth the risk. We need you to be around a long time.
You probably won’t like ghost town living when he spent a night down 700+ feet the night. On his abandoned mine town. Where 30 people still are down there dead from a collapse in the early 1900s. I find it therapeutic. That or I’m tapped in the noggin lol
Those shafts going up are called "stope". There for dumping ore, and or spoil to lower levels. It easier to remove from the bottom than the top. As you said earlier in the viedo. There must be shafts above your elevation.
That does look like a manganese mine. I don't see any of the minerals you'd expect for gold, silver, copper, or lead (pyrite, calchopyrite, galena, or the pure white quartz that usually accompanies them). Those black veins and surrounding pink rocks are definitely more indicative of Mn.
You may find it handy to invest in a drone to get up those escarpments you so beautifully talk about. Another item that may assist is some sort of ‘blue’ light, I’m not sure whether it’s ultraviolet or not. It shows up different aspects of ore & quartz. Thank you for your wonderful wondering though through such beautiful scenery🙏
Wow thats one heck of an adventure! If I was out in the desert I would probably be wearing thick leather chaps to protect me from them hidden houdini snakes so I don't get bit. I would most likely wear a hard hat incase of falling debris as well. No sense in getting knocked out by yourself in a mine. I would still go exploring with you if I had the chance. You go in some really nice and wild adventures. Can't wait to see where you go next .🤠👍
There's really nothing in those mines worth seeing. Just dark rocky tunnels and that's pretty much it. No natural formations, no cool caverns like you might find in a natural cave. It's really not worth risking your life over to explore.
Notice how a lot of those rocks are or at least look like they have been burnt? I believe this is from the last solar nova our sun had 12,000 years ago. This also happened in Egypt and the middle east at the same time. Signs of the burning can be found on the sides of huge statues that one side the rock flakes off like paper and the other is still normal. Solar Blast from the Sun going Nova 12,000 years ago.
Yes...Always Alert...Nobody Hurt...I spent years in 🏭 factories. Safety slogans galore! You truly can't be too careful! Stay safe Chigg...Enjoy your videos and sense of humor!
Those holes 🕳 in the ground 😬 pretty scary to be anywhere near them 😳 Stay safe! Another great vid 👌 Those bones probably are HUMAN 😂 or someone's dog 🐕 🤔 😀
Hey Chigg, I was wondering about those little side chambers that you were talking about. Would those be like a "safe area" for when they would blast some new tunnels? I, myself, would not be staying in a mine while blasting, but I am no miner by any means. Just a thought.
Sir in the future bay guano or poop is dangerous to breathe in .. so respiratory up ⬆️ next time or hopefully you’ve brought a mask with you. Just in case you find yourself surrounded by them above ⬆️ ok 👌 just be safe and healthy sir .. said with respect 🫡 and always keep us posted brother
You should take a meter with you when you go into these old mineshaft. A lot of them here in Arizona and California are very dangerous because of gases or you could take a canary lol.
Hate to say this Chigg but that piece but that gravely strip between drop wholes; I believe was a false ceiling of an almost surface tube going back to the final hole…at least the potential of such seeeems to suggest
Back in 1976 a young woman was found murdered and concealed inside of a mine in the Mojave desert… I do wonder that if you went looking long enough, you’d eventually stumble across a body. Or perhaps old mineshafts are too obvious these days…
do you carry a back up light just in case. i was diving in fla springs and was told not to enter morrison springs two divers had borrowed a light from some divers who had already returned from diving so they had one light. it failed and they where later removed this was back in 1976 i will never forget that day
I sure hope you carry a spare flashlight with you when you go into mines like these. Do you know what they were mining there it almost looked like Lithium? Take care!
Good thing you turned back. That mine looked a bit sketchy in some places. Great video though. Just curious, what flashlights do you use for those videos?
You should carry a oxygen meter. A Pinpointer , hammer and bucket or bag for samples. Wonder what tgey were extracting.? The went a ways in so they must have found something valuable.
7:44 did the miners make a stacked stone archway? Because it looks like a man-made arch, from stackstones. Can you tell if the miners made those arches?
Hey chigg I'll pay ya to send me a bag full of dirt from these mines you visit lol I'm serious. I like prospecting but don't have much time here lately

Safety first! I would have done the same. Merry Christmas Chig 🌲
discretion involves not going into abandoned mines in the middle of nowhere by yourself.
Good idea. Don't take unnecessary risks.
You made a good choice turning back. Stay safe Mr. Chig.

Mines creep me out. I get the extreme willies every time Chigg goes into one of those things.
Love your channel dude
Petualangan yang sangat bagus kawan 👍👍
Stay safe, wise turning back.
Prayers, blessing, peace IN the ❤️.
Can you imagine how much super hard work it took?
Cows walk by the mineshaft, "Silly hoomans, why hooman dig holes in ground..."
Smart decision, sir. You take enough chances as it is.👍
There is no f n way I'd be poking around there by myself. I get spooked to easily. I get near the water and I hear the jaws theme. Da da Da da.
No sharks on the dessert..I think..tremors tho..ok.lets not go there. No beach cuz sharks , sharktopuss, sharkula and sharknadoes, we are doomed
It's fine lol don't let the fear stop you from exploring interesting places
Yeah, but fearless die young

Cool video exploring those mines…maybe it’s just me but I’d purchase a bunch of Halloween stuff and leave a little surprise for the next explorer 😂
😁With the words, “Get out”, under it.🤣
You really are BOB Ross.. In adventure form ❤❤❤
go on in there, see if you can make it out, haha, God bless ya, it must be exciting

My thoughts exactly. No one ever finds anything in these old death traps.
Good evening from Southeast South Dakota
Bats are vital to most ecosystems, we should make bat-caves for them to relax
Wooooah scary! Well the fact that you made this video gives me comfort that you made it back out of that mineshaft lol
Cool adventure buddy!

Safety First.

Doesn't anything about those dark mines, scare you?
Wow your braver then me. I could have sworn I seen stuff in there at I'm safe at home.
Those holes 🕳 in the ground 😬 pretty scary to be anywhere near them 😳 Stay safe! Another great vid 👌 Those bones probably are HUMAN 😂 or someone's dog 🐕 🤔 😀

Makes sense
Starting at about 10:01 it looked as though something large was drug on the ground... Maybe im wrong but dang Chig idk how you do it!! Yikes!!
“Looks too dangerous for me.” “Ew, smells like bats and I’ll watch out for snakes.” Uh huh, another Chigg adventure underway. Much respect.
Should have brought Williams with ya let’s go!
It’s like dancing down a minefield, what harm could it be.
This to me feels like the most dangerous place you have ever gone!
Always follow your gut instinct!
👍
Put a cool video thank you good job Mr. 🐶🐶
Thanks for checking it out.
@@aquachigger looking for more of your videos sir. You do a fine job, interesting and informative.
We find single explorers all the time out here. Not a good Idea to go solo.
Listen to the wisdom with in 🐚🙏✨
Chig ur lucky the tommyknockers didn't get you >.>
I live in Arizona! I sure would like to get together with you sometime when you pass through
Holy Shit greetings from germany :D
At 1:24 it really looks like a pair of slightly glowing eyes looking up out of that mine shaft at our boy Chigg. For two seconds check it out .

Are you walking in metal boots? You sound like a mechanical bot walking through there. lol
Wonder what they were mining ⛏️

What monetary reward could they possibly get that would make that backbreaking work worthwhile?
Some of this work was done in the depression, when you couldn't make a normal living anyway
@@dougtodd305 Unless they were carrying out bucket loads of gold, why dig and blast so deep?
@@perryj8850 manganese ,they would hope to find gold, silver or something of more value .
Can you imagine running into a cougar up in that cave!
That is why outdoor people are armed.
metal detect the mine please.
Some places out there you can't legally

Pinpointer , hammer and bucket or bag for samples. Wonder what tgey were extracting.? The went a ways in so they must have found something valuable.
Nice where's this mine at ?
Could you tell me what type of flashlight you use.? What power does it have.? Thanks, I don’t like mines under ground…..
I think you should have a hard hat on in that cave because possible falling rock
I'd be afraid of running into some freak. It be cool if there was gold.
Did you get a sample of that small ore pile ?
Hey Chigg
Dam sure a dangerous place out there. You would think they would seal them off.
They do seal some up but there are so many it's impossible to seal them all
I would look around that spot where u saw the u haul.

Chigg watch out for bats in caves. They’ll lay eggs in your hair and you’ll go crazy 🤣
What would you do if there was a mountain Lion in there ?😮
Be careful dude
Yes. 1
