The Boulder Dash level is reminiscent of Crash Bandicoot. It even has boxes of apples. Actually, even further evidence to support that it's Crash Bandicoot, is that the layout is the exact first level of Crash 1. Also, I'm almost positive that the black-striped yellow car is a Transformers easter egg.
