Oooh, that would finally enable me to commence on a lot of modelling projects that I keep postponing because of all the jigsaw and filing work coming with that! Count me in!! ;-)
Wow quite the shop toy, amazing what it can do. Looking forward to you doing the casting for the Tally Ho capstan when Dave Clark finishes the pattern for it.
That is incredible machine that is advanced. I remember them in the early 70's and they were not capable of fancy stuff but had text and that was about it. It could not import graphics, they were not invented yet. So text on flat and round. A friend of mine bought one when I was teaching Electronics and so enjoyed it. The amount of smoke was outrageous then. Low power and charred itself through. Sub watt.
Amazing deal Clark. Lots of people are not fans of Creality, but I own an Ender3 and CR6SE 3D Printer, and both have been AMAZING for me. VERY few issues, and for the price? Yea...can't be beat really. Started looking at those Creality Laser's when you posted your video on them. Could be a fun tool to have in the shop for sure.
@@crewdawg257I got the 6SE as a kickstarter. The darn thing just RUNS. I've got 3K hours MINIMUM on it. I bet I've had no more than 15 failed prints, and most were my fault entirely. The Ender3 just works...5K hours minimum on it. I barely touch it for working on it. I turn it on, I feed it filament, it probes the bed, and goes. Yea, I put a BL Touch on it...that was worth it. I too have looked at an X1C, but I'm retired now, I can't just pull that trigger at the moment.
Pretty cool deal. I think it would be a very useful addition to a shop. It would be really neat to win it in your drawing. I would donate it to our local FIRST Robotics team. They could really put it to good use.
This is such a great opportunity for some of those who otherwise couldn't afford or talk their better halves into a purchase of equipment like this to take their ambitions to a whole new level... Or even pushing someone with means to new heights. Its a win win all the way around! I love the give away videos!!!
i am a guy from Denmark and are 42 years and i can spare many people allot of money if i had one, i can make and repair almost any thing and i help every one who is in need, my wealth is not in gold but in joy and wisdom.

I’ve had the best luck with the CR6SE. Of all the cheaper 3D printers it’s been great.
I do have my eye on the Bambu Labs
