    Girl, take WHATEVER that suites you and your baby. People will tell you not to breathe without you asking. Loved the vlog btw. ❤ Congratulations mamas.

    What helped me when i packed her clothes so it was all kept together was place the outfits in ziplock bags! Congrats, i miss this so much, my baby Aurora is almost 6 months! Also bring a big reusable bag and stock up on all the free baby swag! Congrats again!

    Please be careful of tight head bands while she's a newborn and her head is soft and mushy. Her head needs to develop into its normal shape and tight headband or hats can manipulate the shape of her head with indentations!

    I love the excitement you really don't need the pampers just baby gowns and tees bc of naval and socks and hats ! You will be bringing everything they put in her bassinet cabinet and your room for her and request more to bring home so make sure the bag is big enough to fill it up

    U don’t take tags of baby clothes and wash them out. A lot of dust that probably on the from where they made or in the store you bought them remember baby skin is very sensitive.

    You should wash her clothes before packing them for the hospital and order her beanies with bows so her little head is warm! And bring baby lotion for after her bath at the hospital as well as mitten and socks!

      @@lexieclayton4587 every hospital is different but I never had a hospital give me baby lotion, baby mittens or baby socks. Beanies, diapers, wipes and receiving blankets yeah but not that stuff.

      @All Things Alsha strange. They definitely gave us Lotion and socks. Mittens aren't needed for a day or two. As a nurse we just take them off to evaluate the baby every couple hours. Most of the time the babies are swaddled.

      @@alshasmith27That’s very odd, all hospitals give those items after birth.

    • @alshasmith27
      @alshasmith27 Год назад +2

      @@PepperAnnT I wouldn't say all. I've delivered multiple times at different hospitals and birthing centers none of them gave me baby socks, baby lotion or they gave me a baby beanie but it was basic. Maybe it varies from hospital to hospital and cost to cost. Either way she should wash her the baby clothes beforehand and bring it just in case... Or don't bring it and don't wash them. It's her choice and her baby! I can only speak on my experiences as a mother and surrogate.

    You dont need to bring all that stuff to the hospital they will provide everything and she wont be in clothes until you leave other than a oensie. Burp cloths, wipes, bibs, extra clothes are completely unecessary they have all that. You dont wanna ruin or lose all your personal stuff at the hospital. They check the baby so much in the time your there its very annoying for nurses to have to take bows and extra frills off the baby as well as you. Also a child will choose what their favorite stuffed animal is and will most likely not be the one you want it to be. My daughter chose a bow pillow i got randonly from marshalls bin and her wubbanub giraffe that she bit the pacifer off of. I get your excited but this will just be an annoyance for you and the nurses in the end. Wait until your home to use all that

      it’s her first time let her experience it the way she wants to! i can agree on some things u said but then again it’s been first time and she will learn what she likes to do best with her daughter.

    • @lexieclayton4587
      @lexieclayton4587 10 месяцев назад

      @thenathalialuna what do you mean she literally asked if there was any recommendations people had? So unless she wanted everyone to say "oh no you have it all figured out perfectly" I don't really understand how you can say to let her figure it out for herself. Part of being in a community of moms on RUclips is to get advice so you don't HAVE to learn the hard way. Like I said all those clothes can very likely get lost or ruined from birth and all the nursing and all the new changes being done and she will be upset. Why not save the hassle of dragging all this stuff in just to not use it or not need it? And the less you bring the more the hospital will give you to bring home which is always helpful. Secondly I am a nurse and I am telling you with the amount of checks needed to be done on mother and newborn all that extra clothing is so unnecessary and makes our job that much harder. Let alone if the child has any problems. A hospital isn't the place to dress your baby up every day. Maybe one day to do pictures sure, but other than that it's just an inconvenience to the baby and staff.

      @@lexieclayton4587i would hardly call.. annoying the nurses "learning the hard way" 😂😂😂😂😂 relaxxxxxxx.

    • @lexieclayton4587
      @lexieclayton4587 9 месяцев назад

      @@kdrrsvideos I was more referring to losing or damaging her baby clothing and items...the nurse part is just extra information people do not consider. I'm guessing you never had a baby in the NICU because something small like clothing actually really does make a difference foe not just the nurses but the baby as well. If the baby has any problems or is in pain the less clothing you have to fiddle with to give them care allows them to sleep through it more easily. But keep on with your ignorance...it comes across real cute 🤭
