The "Just port every game posible to the switch" thing is like one of the best ideas Nintendo had in a long time.

Final Fantasy X is one of the only games to make me cry. Absolutely essential game to add to your switch library if you like turn-based RPG's.

Final Fantasy X is by FAR my favorite FF, so glad to see it coming to Switch, I always planned to play through it again!

Most of the main characters feel like big brothers & sisters to me back when I was 12 playing this. Now I'm in my late 20's older than most of them, it's been so long and I feel old.
X-2 gets a lot of flack, but the gameplay is super fun and the soundtrack is great. Brought back the ATB system and job classes, giving it a lot more common with other FF’s than X. I imported the Asian version so I got it physically (it’s the same price on many import sites as the NA one).
And James Arnold Taylor's in it.
Does the Asian version have options for English audio?
RightClick According to every listing for it, yes. Just like World of Final Fantasy Maxima, which I also have, it’s basically the NA version of the game. (Chocobo Dungeon sadly isn’t though).
X-2 is actually the only FF game I've ever finished lol

For me, X is the best Final Fantasy game and one of the best games i've ever played. Timeless and unforgettable, that's right!

Yes, now I can refuse to play and outright ignore X-2, but on the go.

You can also refuse to do chocobo racing and lightning dodges on the go.

I dunno how I didn’t see this coming. If Square Enix and Nintendo were preparing the other games in the series for switch, I should have known X and X2 were eventually going to arrive, considering how iconic these entries are in the series. I’m just glad I can relive my childhood on the go!
Excited to play both FFX and X-2 for the first time. I've played 6 through 9, but I think these will be my favs.
10 is definitely a great game, 10-2 on the other hand is a bit hit or miss... 10-2 is also when they decided to move away from turn based combat which in my opinion is a big part of what Final Fantasy is.
If you already played 6, you have experienced the best the series has to offer.

@@givemeabreak432 It was the last with turn based combat system, ATB was a variation of that, XI and onwards used pseudo real time and now XV is full on real time combat
@@kristelrm5111 Well, if you're going to consider ATB a variant on turn based, 12 uses a variant on ATB. But that's not really what I was saying.
Neo Genesis stated that 10-2 is when they "moved away from turn based combat". While it's true they moved away from 10's style of turn based combat, 10-2 brought back more traditional FF combat, considering games for the 15 or so years before 10 came out used ATB.

It was good, but I wish I was able to play it with a regular control instead of the annoying motion controls. I hope they do port it to Switch someday!
I think if Link's Awakening sells well, we might see more remasters or remakes of old games. Skyward Sword is a great game but they need to change how gameplay works since it only works with motion controls and that would be bad for handheld mode.
Loved both games, and to get them part of my Switch library, but the Final Fantasy game I want the most is Final Fantasy VI. That will always be my favorite FF game.

There’s a rumor that says that 1.5 + 2.5 will come at some point but not 3 because the Switch cant run it
@@ThatManWasTheRyback Nope. The Switch is DEFINITELY able to run this game at a solid 720p30fps. Did you look at Yoshi's Crafted World ? (Which IS an Unreal Engine 4 game) That game runs at a Smooth 60Fps ! Anything is possible, but i only care for PC anyway.

Troy Beau I played all off FF13 which I enjoyed (though there were some parts that were annoying) and I played a little bit of 13-2 and Lightning returns and they were pretty boring

I have this game already on the PS4 but I'm glad it's actually coming to the Nintendo Switch. I'm also glad that it's considered a classic. The first Final Fantasy X anyway because it really was. It's the game that got me into the Final Fantasy series and why I even wanted a PS2. Well, it was really Kingdom Hearts but Final Fantasy X was there too
I am really excited to try this game out and see if final fantasy is something I will like. I like a few untraditional jrpgs but I just haven’t found a primarily turn based rpg game that has really hooked me other then the original final fantasy on the nes but the game isn’t really my pace and it’s still an nes game
I bought a Nintendo switch on day one 2years ago and the Wall Street journal is telling me you guys making 2 *new* switches c'mon Nintendo that just a low blow on me, i been investing in your console, love the way it's looks feel, love the way I could take it anywhere or play it at home, in fact I haven't touch my Xbox one or my PS4 😔
I think this final fantasy is my favorite because is the one i own i had play the other ones but they were my cousins or friends when I was small
