Very fair review. I like how you approach this from a very neutral standpoint and don’t trash it because of bias. There are a lot of different skill levels out there and there is a market for this. I’m a “serious beginner” so never DJ’Ed but am looking to grow towards something more serious too.
need more inputs and output ports for other devices also a seperated usb input differ then the usb port for cabling use with pc. a few important things are missing here as it makes the fx6 not worth $600 even R1 of pioneer has a better way of deejaying with the best of the settings. but so far its a great controller but not worth the price range
This is NOT a $600 controller, I don't care if it has 4 channels and larger jog wheels. It's a plastic controller for beginners that should not sell for more than $400. If you want a to buy a real mid-range controller get the DDJ-800 OR the Denon Prime 2, they are both fantastic controllers.
So you Don't mention anything about what's wrong with it only that you think it's cheap? Chances are you wouldnt sound any different on the flx6. So pay an extra 200-400 to have a "mid range" controller? If it's for beginners they get to learn the software, get a clean design, sweet wheels, 4 channels...everything they need to learn until they upgrade. Another flx6 bandwagoner just hating on it because other djs have

Im thinking of getting this im upgrading from ddj 400 .. hmm great review
btw im from malaysia :D hot boiling malaysia aha.
Can you custom Merge FX in Serato?
The rca outputs shouldn't be much of a problem as long as you have an external mixer/mixing board right?
Right, but than that's another piece of equipment to bring along and then load and unload.
You can last get RCA to XLR cables too.
I owned this controller and definitely 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
No More Headache 🤣
What was 🔥 about it?
Does it have a slip mode?
No balanced out is a real issue with audio dynamics… RCA ONLY is a real deal killer
Can you use 2 external record players with this?
Unless you can map them to rekordbox, i do not think so...
Im still u decided its in sale 700 aud so its nice
little fella? aha
IMO, 600 USD is too much for what Pioneer is offering here. It is of my personal opinion that the price tag should be closer to 399 or 449 at best.
