In answer to toasty's question, I'd like to see a pokemon based on more eldritch designs, though obviously not to the original degree, like with true Cthulhu and so on. Instead, maybe make it start out as a quote-unquote 'limb' of the final form emerging from a portal, with more of the organism emerging from the rift as it evolves. I'd imagine it being a Dark/Psychic type perhaps.
I am so ready for more non dragon pseudos and I LOVE this direction you've dreamt up!

We really need more "this Pokémon has no real world equivalents to be compared to" concepts. Having designs that are just so thoroughly _other_ is always interesting.

We had dragon/flying (twice), we had dark, we had fighting, we had ghost, and even ice! So what are they waiting for!? Give us a epic as f- fairy psuedo!

@@BonnyJohn It'd be really neat to see a 'pretty' psuedo. All of them are really badass or otherwise threatening. But I'd love to see an attempt at designing a Pokémon that looks powerful in a completely different way from the existing ones, like something that looks graceful and serene, like it exists on another plain

2. As much as dragon is one of my favorite types, I want a non-dragon psuedo next gen. Instead they should do an unused type combo. Specifically I would love a Fire/Electric psuedo.
Yes I know Rotom Heat is Fire/Electric. However it's a form for a gimmick Pokemon. I love Rotom but I want those type to reappear elsewhere.

Id love to see a Fire/Fairy type. Its a type combo lends itself to such a beautiful color palette and the idea of mystical, dream-like fire sounds amazing!

QOTD. I'm a big fan of Cursola and i think a future paradox form where the oceans are so damaged that they had to reinforce the Cursola with steel to keep them together would be a really cool idea. I'd call it Iron Coral and it would be a Ghost, Steel type and it's ability is obviously quark drive with the following stats: HP 60, ATK 145, DEF 95, SATK 95, SDEF 130, SPD 75, TOTAL 600. My reasoning was that it needed to be frail as it's practically falling apart so one good hit would take it out but it can hit hard too.

Love your idea, although as soon as you mentioned Corsola, I got the idea of maybe creating a future version of Corsola that was able to heal and put itself together thanks to humanity finding its way and cleaning the oceans! Could be a fun twist on the future concept but thanks for going in depth!
Another great video! I gotta say I really am enjoying how you are rendering these designs! I think they just really do the designs much more justice in this non sugimori style and add a ton of character!
As for the question of the day: I would love to see some kind of bug/dragon type! Honestly flygon would’ve been perfect but would like to see them tackle it! But it’d also be great to see them do a non dragon based design like they did with metagross! Bring back giving us two psuedo lines per gen!
Thank you!!! I've really been enjoying the process sooo much more; it doesn't feel as much of a chore trying to replicate something else which I always found I either got close or missed the mark a bit with previous designs. Leaning into what I know best (me!!!) has definitely been rewarding :)
I always pictured Flygon as a bug/dragon and only more recently learned it wasn't...we're definitely due one and can't wait to see what they come up with!

To answer that last question literally anything but another dragon type. I get it, dragons are cool and powerful but aside from Tyranitar and Metagross EVERY. SINGLE. ONE is a dragon.
As for my preferred type, might be hot take but an overpowered Bug would look sick af. It’d have to be a dual type though with something to cover Bugs weaknesses. I mean we know how good it can look with Golisopod, Volcorona, and G-MAX Butterfree. Other types that would awesome as hell would be Poison and Electric.

Yes! I've done other Paradox pokemon in the vein of ancestors and this was one I had planned for FOREVER; so it feels good to get him out there!
I'd honestly like to see a take on a Bug psuedo-Legendary. And not necessarily a Bug/Dragon (which I have a concept for that I won't share here), but bugs are so varied and deceptively strong, and change so much as they grow, that a powerful, versatile, probably even scary Bug psuedo-legendary would be really cool to see. Maybe, just to spitball an idea, maybe a rather resilient drone bug that eventually evolves into a leader/king that commands its brethren, maybe even its own hive, like a living fortress? Like a cross between Vespiquen's queenly status, Wishiwashi's school, and Falinks' militant cooperation?

See, I think Tyranitar still very much reads like dragon/dinosaur so only Metagross feels like the true outlier, but I agree with you wholeheartedly! Even a dragon/dinosaur looking dude like Tyranitar without the dragon type would be welcome!

for a pseudo legenadary? I don't think they'll bring back a paradox in the future gen and we did get a bat but maybe a non dragon bat pseudo would be pretty tight!

Psuedo that I would like to see in the next region would be a water type based on the strange creatures of the deep sea. Maybe Fairy or Dark water.

I think he doesn't understand the Paradox phenomenon in Scarlet or Violet.
The pokémon are a paradoxes, they cannot exist and contradict themselves.
And some books at the academy known as the "Occulture", directly state that these are in-universe fictional pokémon.
And btw, future paradoxes are all called "Iron *Something*" (even Miraidon has the alternative name "Iron Serpent")
While these designs look cool, they are not thought out very well.
