The original little square dock was built to be at the ideal level for getting on and off this specific boat. One day after the dock was finished, they said the boat could not go outboard of the dock, it has to be tied to the concrete seawall instead.

Wood construction is great even for boats, it grows on trees. Having a great time here at my stealth cabin, the weather is good making progress. Very satisfying wood construction.
Always nice to have more space to sit on the water. Will this also be workingspace for working on your catamaran? Where are you going to moore your boat?
They won't let the catamaran tie outboard of the dock, so it has to be tied to the seawall, but the space will be helpful when working on the boat. I also want to re-build the raft made out of the two canoes for short trips around the river. The dock will be its haul out facility.

If you know enough friends, or have worked for people free or cheap when they really needed it, this could work. Thirty people bought the house. American politicians made up some laws to facilitate corporations bribing them. Anyone can give anyone else $10,000 tax free. One person can receive as many $10,000 donations as they can rustle up, again tax free. Most goes to political bribes and bundled corporate campaign donations. Mostly corporations that bribe up to 10K on behalf of every employee.. Its that corrupt here. They opened up this loophole an accountant friend found and we drove a house through it.
