I can understand you are in tight situation but locals usually tip 100 taka which is $1 . I have been in NY city seen how the texi driver or tour bus drivers , ask for tip . Restaurants add bill with 10 % extra tip . Hope you will travel more and you will learn more 👍👍 They didn’t force you to tip but the way you talk it was bit disrespectful .

That's what those fishers were sorting out in a bowl. they were sorting out different sizes to millimetres and centimetres so that they could sell it on different specific price range.
Try to visit Sundarban, world's largest mangrove forest and stay in the middle of forest for couple of night. You can book from tour operator. You will stay at the ship during the night and mini boat will take you inside the forest through shallow canal. Best tourist destination in Bangladesh.

There was a big problem, probably still is with them casting the unwanted small catch just on open sand to die. Hopefully they don't do that here as the surf is suprisingly important for a lot of offspring to get started. They can sell baby king/tiger prawns on to farms.
