So nice, but it's absolutely insane that Framer charges 40 dollars per month to setup more than 2 languages... Now I need to surprise my client again with extra costs... Why is this so expensive? This translation/multi-language feature should be included in the already high-priced Pro subscription.
Extra hasznos Tutorial volt, köszi szépen! Framer az új webflow! Tavaly egy multilingual weboldalt építettem webflow-al, nagyon idegesítő volt mikor nem szinkronizált a weglot plugin.… 😃
Hey Nandi, Quick question for you: I'm working on a client website that needs both English and Spanish versions. The challenge I'm facing, which I also noticed in your tutorial, is with spacing and alignment issues. Since some Spanish words are longer than their English counterparts, the design breaks in certain areas, especially since Framer doesn’t allow locale-specific adjustments. For example, if I have a fixed container of 200px and a button fits perfectly in English, but in Spanish, the longer text causes the button to overflow the container. How do you handle this to ensure proper alignment in both languages without breaking the design? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!
Hey thanks! You can copy the remix link to the site and share that with the client. They’ll copy the project to their account and can pay for the subscription themselves.
Thanks! Learning platform is launching soon! Sorry for the delay, there are some technical issues. Make sure to keep an eye on your inbox and more importantly on my Twitter for latest updates 🫡
Sorry man, nice tut... but useless for us pariah "basic" Framer users. It displays "cheat" options and features that when you try to use, they blow up in your face and tell you that you are not allowed to use them, and have to pay more if you want. Previously, ethics in software design established moral minimums, in which functions not included in the "lite" or "basic" versions simply did not appear. You knew they existed because the tutorials and manuals were also ethical and made the differences between "basic" and "professional" very clear. Obviously, you believe what you see because it is easy to deceive on social media. Then you subscribe, you get your hopes up and you promise your clients fabulous multilingual websites for a reasonable price. Now I have to back down from my clients, because no one in their right mind want to pay €/$40 more per month for that third language, which in most cases is out of respect for the local minority languages (yes, in Europe is more than normal to live with 3 local languages).
Practices have changed in software design. If they don’t show features in app, you won’t pay because you don’t know they exist. Keep in mind that a bunch of people work on software we use every day, and they need revenue to keep going. If you can’t pay for stuff, simply don’t use it. Look for a free/cheaper alternative. Regarding clients, I’d recommend looking for businesses that can afford paying these monthly fees. A trick to attract these type of clients is to raise your prices. If a client pays $5k for a website, they won’t mind a small monthly fee to run the site because they understand the value it brings in. On the other hand if you’re making sites for a couple hundred dollars, well those clients won’t pay 40/locale.

Hey there Nandi! Thanks for this great tutorial! Multiple locales are only available with a pro addon, correct? Im not able to add more then one.
Hey! I’m glad this was helpful.
Yes you’re right. You need to buy an addon to unlock more locales.
Very expensive. $40 per month.
