- In honor of such a change heres a throwback to the day we bought the bus.
Hey everyone, it’s been awhile. We wanted to share some big and bittersweet life updates.
We’ve recently settled down and signed a lease in southern CA, a place we were already spending a substantial chunk of our time. We’re close to some of our bestest friends, Eric’s small business, and my new job. We can walk to the beach from our place and are thankful and excited to be where we are.
A lot has led up to our decision to end the adventure of full time bus living (for now anyways). We did the darn thing! We threw all of ourselves into the experience. Building and living in the bus for two years was unforgettable and humbling. It was no cake walk but we had fairy tale moments and experienced places we wouldn’t have otherwise.
While we may be selling our dear sweet bus we are not finished with traveling or the nomadic community. Life is just changing and we’re ready for something different. Once we’ve sold the bus we will be looking to build out another smaller rig.
It pains me to put the bus up for sale, I am so sentimentality attached. However, the reality is that there are so many more miles to be put on Bona Fide and atm we are unable to do that justice. We built a tiny home on wheels and it should be treated as such. My hope is that the next person will get even more enjoyment, love, and excitement that we got out of it.
To our families and friends: thank you for every shower we’ve had at your house, for every gesture of support small and big. Most importantly, thank you for believing in us even if you didn’t understand. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.
Eric: together we can do anything. Here’s to our next chapter!

Hey, nothing wrong with that. I and others are envious of both of you for actually making bus life happen and giving it a try! At least you can say you did it. And it sounds like you've got a plan to keep adventuring although in a slightly scaled back way as you move forward. Best of luck!
