Thanks for your tutorials! I have used an Eos Arrow 100 with Qfield on Android for several years now, but I have not figured out out how to record GPS metadata such as the horizontal and vertical accuracy for a given point or vertex. There seems to information out there on how to do this with ESRI Field Maps, but I can't find anything for Qfield. If you could direct me to something, I would be very grateful.
Hi @Dentdav. Check this out: docs.qfield.org/how-to/gnss/ Using these variables in your forms should get you what you need. If you end up giving it a try please report back with your level of success! Cheers, Aaron
Thanks for the video, I learned QField from a few your earlier tutorials. I tried to connect to an Eos Arrow 100 today but I keep getting an error when I click Connect. The error reads Positioning device error: The connection was refused by the remote host. I followed your instructions Connection Type: TCP, Address 127.0.0.1 and the Port set to 3967 (when I go in to the settings the default for port reads 9000, I've tried both and I get the same error either way). I was wondering if you had seen this error or had any trouble shooting advice. Thank you!
Hi Jonathan, Sorry you're having issues with the External GPS. I believe I have had the error before, but I cannot remember the context nor the resolution. I DO know that the order in which you pair via bluetooth, configure the EOS mobile app, and then QField matters. Were you able to figure it out?
GEOACE your videos on Qfield tutorials are so so helpful, especially for iOS users like myself. I am having a hard time figuring out how to sync pictures taken with the app to my desktop. All that shows up in the widget form is a file path to "DCIM" but not such folder paths are actually present. Any experience with this particular aspect of the app? Also sorry if this was covered in one of your videos, if so just direct me to that!
Hello and thanks for watching other videos. Glad to hear that they have been helpful. I just uploaded the first of two image/photo videos. This video should address your issue. I included a "sync back to qgis" section to make sure I show the whole cycle. The higher resolutions should be done processing in the next hour or so. If that doesn't fix your problem please report back! Link: ruclips.net/video/Any7UHLbMwQ/видео.html
hello geoace thank you very much for the video, you can make a synchronization video of Qfield and an external gps through an android device, I have an EOS arrow and I have not been able to communicate them. please. I'm from Chile, best regards.
@@geoace I have contacted the manufacturer Bluestar GNSS and they sent me the apk file directly as the original Playstore file did not work. Thank you very much for your prompt response. I will be attentive to your new videos, see you soon. 😀

Hi Mauricio, sure thing. I've added it to the queue. I have I think 3 more videos to go and then I'll hit it.
