Rehee Sw not really, actually. All the belts are in UR Taeyeons strongest register. The note lengths and power are nothing she hasn't demonstrated before. Stress has a lot of notes in her upper register and the agility the song requires is very demanding for her voice. She's great, but not perfect!
I've listened to Stress before and notes in that song keep her throat at very high position and it sounds a bit strained for me. Notes in U R are even in her supported range but it is still something stressful for her, it might get your jaw tired and lose ur strength. But her notes are still absolutely perfect, powerful and supported. Vibrato, can you hear that?😍😍

Maelyss Lanson its really fine if you don't like her xD everyone has different preferences. The reason I like her is for all the reasons you mentioned and more. And probably personally for me, I feel similar to her in a way. If you know her personality, you would know Taeyeon is quite reserved and likes to spend her time alone most times like me, she's like an extroverted introvert (sorry if i dont make any sense xD) and i guess I understand how she feels. Her quietness and introvertness would probably explain why she seems uninterested or whatever in shows like weekly idol etc. She also has fear of cameras still. And shes mentioned at times she feels lonely, and wants to be with people, however at the same time she wants to be alone. I think she is very relatable, down to earth and just like a normal girl. She's just a very misunderstood person most of the time. Once you put yourself in her position and feel how she feels you might understand her and like her more. Sorry i wrote so much, but this is what I feel about her :)
딱 절묘하게 적절한 정도의 금속성 목소리, 대단히 풍부한 느낌의 비브라토, 최고의 감정 처리. 자신의 무대에 완전 100% 몰입하는 모습. 그런 요소들이 어우러져 태연을 최고의 보컬리스트로 돋보기에 해준다. 듣고 보면서 항상 정말 대단한 가수라고 느낀다. 아마 3세대, 4세대 후배 메인 리트 보컬 아이돌들에겐 영원한 우상이겠지.
한 곡 내에서 저렇게 다양한 창법을 구사하는 것도 대단한데 그걸 보이스 컬러가 변하지 않는 선에서 모두 어우른다는 건 실로 놀랍다. 더군다나 중음역대 길게 끄는 음의 강약을 어떻게 저렇게 조절하는지 신기하고 경이롭다. 약하게 부르거나 조금만 강하게 나와도 아련한 느낌이 반감될 텐데 그걸 절제해 정확한 성량으로 완벽한 감성을 담아 내고 있다. 그 하나만으로도 노래에 저렇게 아름다운 입체미를 더한다. 차라리 쎄게 부르면 힘이라도 덜 들지. 저렇게 부르면 목이 아픈 건 둘째치고 호흡이 감당이 되는가? 최고음에서의 공명점을 찍어내는 스킬도 경탄할 만한 것이지만 나는 그 점에서 더욱 더 전율한다.

Maybe other singers can also hit that note but no one will be able to deliver the emotion that Taeyeon was able to convey singing this song. With Taeyeon it's not just always about strong notes, she accompanies them with technique plus the emotion and that makes her such an outstanding vocalist.
Taeyeon's vocal range is really really wide. She knows her range so well and even reach higher. Her technique is undeniably great! Amazing vocalist is understatement. She is beyond!
Taeyeon got a beautiful, strong voice, and skillfully expresses her emotions. All those emotional experiences she had, like the painful relationship with that exo boy, and the family-like friendship/bonding with her fellow Soshi members like her best friend Tiffany, provide her the emotions that she can flow through during her performances.
I was told by a hater a lot of people are better than Taeyeon singing this song, so I searched for those so called awesome covers and found nothing close to this performance. I really want to slap this video on that hater's face.
I love her so much but now I appreciated her on another level.... because now I start to understand that Taeyeon as a solo is not just another singer.... she is here to stay even on her own, with or without SNSD, and I see a great future for her as an artist. My jew literally dropped on the floor, especially in the end, something that hasn't happened for quite some time! Althought I like the Seoul stage better that she is very high, like an angel, here her vocals are just too perfect.... I mean they are literally better than the cd. She didn't miss half a note, she didn't strain her voice belting her ass out, she sounded healthy and so emotional! And that is the finale from a two hour show dancing and singing other hard songs that could easily drop down most (if not all) American pop stars with their vocal demands! 김태성 음원은 현장의 3분의 1도 안 담겨요 진짜...실제로 들으면 정말 감성과 성량이 어마어마함..
한 곡 내에서 저렇게 다양한 창법을 구사하는 것도 대단한데 그걸 보이스 컬러가 변하지 않는 선에서 모두 어우른다는 건 실로 놀랍다. 더군다나 중음역대 길게 끄는 음의 강약을 어떻게 저렇게 조절하는지 신기하고 경이롭다. 약하게 부르거나 조금만 강하게 나와도 아련한 느낌이 반감될 텐데 그걸 절제해 정확한 성량으로 완벽한 감성을 담아 내고 있다. 그 하나만으로도 노래에 저렇게 아름다운 입체미를 더한다. 차라리 쎄게 부르면 힘이라도 덜 들지. 저렇게 부르면 목이 아픈 건 둘째치고 호흡이 감당이 되는가? 최고음에서의 공명점을 찍어내는 스킬도 경탄할 만한 것이지만 나는 그 점에서 더욱 더 전율한다.
제가 하고 싶은말을 잘 정리해주셨네요.
특히 차라리 더 쎄게 내면 힘이라도 덜들지 저말 너무 공감되요.

My jew literally dropped on the floor, especially in the end, something that hasn't happened for quite some time! Althought I like the Seoul stage better that she is very high, like an angel, here her vocals are just too perfect.... I mean they are literally better than the cd. She didn't miss half a note, she didn't strain her voice belting her ass out, she sounded healthy and so emotional! And that is the finale from a two hour show dancing and singing other hard songs that could easily drop down most (if not all) American pop stars with their vocal demands! Taeyeon is on her way for Queen of kpop and much more! Love her with all my heart!
