Hi Azizah, my wife and i love your videos and seeing your face, and the enthusiasm, joy or sometimes disappointment ahem Enzo Ferrari gift that come through your expressions. I am not going to be rude to anyone but i don't think it is kind to tell someone you would not like to see their face in a video whether you know them or i woud more commony say, these peope don't. I woud take there suggestions and say "Thank you for you feedback" and then speedily resume your traditional video style. We miss seeing you as it enhances your reviews and just makes my wife and i happy😊

daaamn, that's a bosshogg nib👑🔥 As a fountain pen artist, i've mostly used ultra fine nibs, as that works best for my kind of detail. Now Im starting to branch out more to chonky boi nibs. As a chonk nib professional, which do you find the most user friendly? (I do have a Sailor Wicked Witch regular size with a Zoom nib, a couple BB architects and a few different broad/music nibs from Noodlers)

Good review, with useful information, as usual. I've been watching your channel for a while, and I don't agree with those who want a desktop only view. What I would recommend is to eliminate the older split-screen presentation, but mix shots of your person (face) while you provide specs etc., with overhead views of the pen, packaging, and writing samples. I find the hands-desk-pen only videos somewhat boring and, obviously, lacking a personal touch, which distinguishes your videos from others.
If the expectation is: let's buy a nib I cannot use, then that nib would meet the expectation of many people. I cannot understand for the life of my why some manufacturers make it impossible or very unpleasant to write at a low angle with their nibs... If the design of the grip is made to accommodate many different ways of holding a pen, it seems counterintuitive to restrict the user to a very narrow angle and sweet spot.
I think it's less of a restriction and more of proper expectation personally. like when you get a crisp italic you have to write on a certain angle. But I do think more education/ warning from the brand may be good since most people don't grow up using fountain pens nowadays, and thus the expectation will likely not align with these specialty products. I still remember learning about how aurora have to make their flex nib harder bc they may be faced with plenty warranty headache otherwise (and the end result is a nib that's way too stiff if I say so myself). But I think we are generally moving towards a more educated market with more brands embracing specialty nibs and the rise of nib grinders.
@@mikeshi2948 I love italic nibs, but the only ones that require me to write at a very high angle are the Japanese ones, because of cultural differences with the west - and even then they don't skip like crazy if I dont. I don't expect a European brand forcing me to write at a Japanese angle, that's what I find the weirdest with this nib. The strange thing about the newest Aurora flex nib is that they offered a better one a few years ago (since the 88 redesign in the 90s I believe), and it just went poof the way of the dodo; and they now have one that flexes less and springs more easily...
Huh, that does indeed look to be ground at 70 degrees in the side view. I wonder what happened, because I've definitely seen BBB Scribo nibs ground at ~45 degrees as well.
P.S.-thank you for not using "the quick brown fox..." for your writing samples. Whenever I see that hackneyed phrase, I get the urge to imitate Oedipus and gouge out my eyes!

This rounded model is called La Dotta. If this color was made for the Feel… I would definitely have dropped deeper into the Scribo rabbit hole. 💜🤗

It behaves as a true Broad nib non stub. I have some doubts it is trult triple broad ....did you measure the line widths?
