After watching Anson Mount play Pike I really BELIEVE that he is Capt Pike. Anson has made Pike his own and is taking him on this journey that we are all apart of and that is so cool. Ethan Peck's Spock is ....in one word....Fantastical. This is a young Spock finding his way and getting there and we are all apart of that journey as well. We get to witness what Spock is like well-before we see the more refined and totally in control Mr Spock on TOS.
"Welcome to the family" is code for "Welcome to the cult" (in a positiv way). He will learn that like Patrick Steward learned (he also didn't take the whole thing very serious in the beginning and changed his mind very much).
Wth??...Anson Mount looks Terribleeee looking all clean and modern! Next to Clint Eastwood....he looked hands down awesome in Hell on Wheels with the western beard and hair! Wish i can pull that look off!
