    Great video, thank you!!!! I have one question: is it also possible to spray large canvases from behind so that it doesn't sag? I am so afraid of ruining my picture :-( Best regards Katja

    • @MasseArtStudio
      @MasseArtStudio  3 месяца назад

      Yes you absolutely can. With a large canvas, anything bigger than 20x20 I reinforce the back by using cardboard or something to stop the sag. The other option is to actually resin the back of the canvas. By pouring a thing layer of resin on the back 1st. I’ve done that before on the channel too

    I'm at work sneaking. In some of the video... I always have a problem with round canvases. Seems like my resin shrinks in and the edges have to be redone. This is an awesome video! Thanks!😊

    Excellent video, Lee! If you have just one tiny dust spot on a canvas, do you sand and redo the whole thing again? I wish there was a way to ‘spot treat’.

    • @MasseArtStudio
      @MasseArtStudio  3 месяца назад

      I do. Because resin is self leveling it’s damn near impossible to spot treat! You would have raised resin spots. But for one tiny dust spot I might not even bother. These are hand made projects after all.

    Thank u so much for this information. I've tried to resin my art in the past. but most times, I'll get a sm dimple here and there. I was wondering if i need to sandpaper the entire painting? If it's a sm dimple close to the side, could i just sandpaper the imperfection and resin over piece? Or do i need to sandpaper the entire piece?

    • @MasseArtStudio
      @MasseArtStudio  3 месяца назад

      I like to sandpaper all over as it helps with the adhesion

  • @KarenLoomis-d1d
    @KarenLoomis-d1d 3 месяца назад +1

    Just in time for! I’ve been petrified of working with resin. I tried to resin one of the wood canvases and it pulled away on one side, probably because it was not level. Can it be fixed? It looks beautiful aside from that small issue, I mixed the resin with TLP’s Syrah. Thanks for taking the time to do this video! ❤

    • @MasseArtStudio
      @MasseArtStudio  3 месяца назад +1

      It absolutely can! Lightly sand and then apply another coat of resin. That should work.

    How can i pack items to go to market. Paintings, boards, etc. What can i wrap them in to pack one on top of each other?

    • @MasseArtStudio

      So we don’t do markets, fairs but would pack them the same way we do to send them. With glassine paper and bubble wrap with the bubbles facing out.
