I talked to Ninety on the phone about 23 years ago. He liked my songs. Being young and crazy. I said oh snap, I heard of you man. He said oh yeah? I said yes, I heard you ripped off Bob Marley! He got mad as hell. Me na bloodclot rip Mr Marley off. Who said that! 😂😂😂 He’s a old school Suge Knight😂😂😂
They have to make a movie about how he got into music from the time he was born when he met Rita and then went to America then came back to Jamaica the early days was the best part before the dreadlocks the Afro stage 👀
@@SuperheroJunior of course but that is a miniseries trilogy itself..but this movie missed the hindsight of the One Love concert or dealing with the turbulent time of Jamaica - not his maties though 👀
Ras, im always amazed when you drop a much greater history than I've known. Yet when you give due respect to people like scratch and leslie kong for example, and justly so, i just remember what i always heard of them as thieves and instigators, i cyant respect them as men. Perry especially, i always noticed a duppy in his spirit. His productions, classic, but i could just feel he was up to worse than i knew of. Thanks for bringing light to this situation, especially to hear how tuff gong was really that tough lol. I dont hear much about him fighting but know his reputation. Much thanks again
It's crazy that bad mind inna dancehall and reggae existed way before bounty and beenie and cartel made the lives and progress in the music industry difficult for certain artists. Those three artist closed alot of doors for fellow artists. Apparently this has been going on from Duke Reid days. I guess bad mind is human nature to be so prevalent in those early days
Bob was truly a rebel I've heard stories but despite all that these guys were all looking for a chance, got played by thieving players.. Bob uprising broke barriers ❤ Thx for sharing
Blood and fire and mr chatterbox have to be in my top 10. I never knew they were both diss tracks. Most americans think Bob was all peace and love. The elders have always said Bob was a baaaad man! Bunny Peter and Bob would kick the shit out of anyone who would step up and try something. Thank you for this video !!!!
See, all of this should be in the new Marley film!! And no surprise Bob came out on top: him, Peter and Bunny pure Kingstonians. Ruff and tuff.🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Did you know Bunny Wailer had a feud with Bunny Striker Lee….because Bunny Lee is related to Lesile Kong….and Bunny Wailer put a curse on Lesile Kong over the release of The Wailers Album…. Best of Wailers (1970)….and Leslie Kong actually died soon after….
Wow, I never knew that Lee and Kong were related! In another video, Ras discussed Kong's insistence on referring to an upcoming Wailers compilation as "The Best Of". So while Bunny replied to the statement as you know, I think that Leslie Kong who ultimately cursed himself.

These spats were often not as serious as they are made out to be, while sometimes they are worse! It should be remembered that Bunny Lee and Niney were very close friends for most of the time. Niney, Tapper Zuckie , Ossie Thomas (Black Solidarity) were all close Bunny Lee friends and I met them a few times all together in London at Reg's (3Kings) HQ in Battersea. I got to know Bunny very well over several years and asked him who he thought was the best producer in JA he'd ever heard- (Slim Smith was his favourite singer btw) NINEY he said without a second thought.... elaborating that he thought Niney was the most creative song-writer, and changed the sound of reggae the most, and most often. So, yes there is grief , but these great men could turn that into great tunes as well. That is not to say they didnt have (some incredible) hiccups in their friendship along the way, but that's not for me to discuss...

Why would you disrespect an older man like that? Seriously.
I guess you did say young and crazy.
Whoaaa😂😂😂 like you set him off? You was young eh 😊 I can hear the elders will say “you have no decorum”

R.A.S always the channel of Reggae intelligence...thx again for FACT💋💛🌿
Now this story should have been included in a future Bob Marley movie…peaceful man eh But Rastas fight too they are human too❤💚💛
Also Bob Marley got into a fight with Peter Tosh too in 1973 or 1974.

i ve heard about that story.
Sad to known that the great mr Lee Scratch Perry would do something like this.
Yes why did he do that if so would be good to hear ?
It is amazing that so much good music came out of such childish behaviour.
