I even remember how the hospital room smelled and how sweet my new baby girl smelled. Our youngest child was born 7 years ago and I remember every moment of his birth as well. How adorable! I remember clearly when my son was born he's now 2½ and even to this day I'm left staring at him and remembering that moment he popped out n his beautiful face n cry. That love is unexplainable. I'm now 6 months into my second pregnancy...Congrats and welcome to motherhood

I can't wait to meet my grand son. My daughter is so natural. She hates that she's going to have to be induced. She didn't want any drugs. My spinal tap really hurt. I'm very very Happy you had a successful delivery. You're both healthy. I pray that God continues to Bless you and baby always for a happy and healthy life. I had a lot of health issues toward the end of my pregnancy. I requested a C section. I went home the next day and washed clothes. I wasn't in much pain. I have high tolerance for pain. I'm so thrilled for u both.

My labor and delivery was just so great and I couldn't have asked for anything better. My little Liam will be 2 months old on friday. What worries me the most is when I start work and I'll have to leave him. I feel heartbroken about that already.😢

I also had emergency c-section, lots of complications and blood transfusion, etc. But it was worth it, I completely understand how you feel when you look at your son. Your love for him is so strong. My baby is now 13 but every time I think back I can remember all these emotions. I look at her now and feel so incredibly blessed. Cherish each minute, it goes fast!!
Your baby is perfect. Please don't stress about the "weight" charts, and your baby needing to "keep up". My children were all considered low weight on the charts. I come from another country and when I told my mother who is a scientist, what I was being told, she went into research mode and found out American child weight charts are much heavier than the weight charts in other countries. So fast forward 24 years or so and my 3 children are gorgeous althetic healthy tall adults who are perfect weights. Doctors give advice based on their areas of studies and generalizations. Trust your instincts, your baby is a unique combination of your and your husband's genes. Ask your mom and your mother in law 👍😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤
He is beautiful! I agree a C section is very strange. My drugs were wearing off and I could feel alot. They gave me more drugs and all I could remember were the lights and I turned my head and seen blood on the floor and after that I don't remember a thing. I didn't even get to see my son until after I woke up in the recovery room and was taken to my regular room. It is definitely all worth it. Congratulations!

This is so precious! My son will be 21 on April 4, and this has brought back so many memories of when he was born! I also have a daughter who is 26. Congratulations. I've had 2 c-sections. One 9 years ago and 1 2 months ago yeah the surgery is something else but I forgot it all with time. Just a tip if he cries when you change his diaper since it is cold maybe his wipes are cold. I figured that out and we bought a wipe warmer and no more crying when we change his diaper.

I too after surgery, which I had general anesthesia, after surgery, I had the urge to use the bathroom to void & when I went, it was drip drip and that’s it & my bladder became extremely uncomfortable and so full then they did the fast catch/catheter & the nurse was a brute & it hurt like he$$ & so much urine came out & the relief was incredible & instantaneous. They called it a “sleepy bladder” and explained that the bladder sometimes takes a while longer to wake up from anesthesia. Any who, I am so happy for you & your family:) xoxo

I had my baby boy two weeks ago! I also had a c section. And how you describe everything it’s almost how it went for me too. The catheter part omg that happens to me too they had to put it back because I was soo swollen. My baby it’s eating every two hours. Dr said he is in a grow spurt. He is like your baby he cries too when I change his diaper. I’m glad that you and the baby are ok! What a blessing! God is good!

Im a single mom and when i had my baby y had to drive to take him to the doctor and thats how i ended up with an infection but i was glad my mom and sister helped me alot... and again congradulationes. Gloria Santos I was just telling my hubby that single moms are literally super humans! We have been very fortunate to have our family near and it is still so hard to take care of a newborn. My mom was also a single mom of 3 and i have a whole new understanding of her struggles. You are amazing!!

What a beautiful little boy he's such an angel God bless him, they probably gave you Pitocin it also made me shake and really cold, You look so happy and you definitely have that glow still. UGH the catheter is so annoying i hated that part 😭 Don't worry we all go through those emotions as first time mommy's I barely slept the first week just checking to see if my little guy was breathing and I also had those moments where I cried for the silly things out of no where its totally normal. Awwwcongradulations. He is so precious. I had a very similar c section experience. My baby boy came at 34 weeks but he was healthy. We were in the nick for almost a month but he is now 10 weeks and we couldn't be happier. Motherhood is such an amazing experience enjoy every amazing moment.

My daughter was just a couple ounces bigger when she was born at 42 weeks. I will be having my own little prince this July, I'm almost 20 weeks now. I've absolutely loved watching your journey and reliving my own previous pregnancy, and re-experiencing the things I have to look forward to! The adrenaline definitely tones down how a traumatic hospital experience feels. Take lots of pictures and videos, as I’m sure you are!! 😊 I also made a pregnancy/delivery story scrapbook on Shutterfly for myself after my daughter was born and I included journaling of all the events and pictures throughout my pregnancy and from Kylie’s birth and I love having that to look back on because I realized that the details fade over the years and it’s nice to have something to look back on 💗🤗💗

Congratulations Liz,.. Even I delivered baby boy in Jan last week this year,.. My delivery is a bit of scary,.. I had got pain 12 days prior to my due date, so I was not sure whether it was time to go to hospital,. I tried to sleep thinking that the pain might have been due to some food,.. But it was unbearable, then after an hour rushed to the hospital,. But Baby was in breech position, and I was dilated like 6cm,.. Doctor and entire team was panicked, because they were not ready to take risk of delivering breech baby normally,.. But baby was coming down very quickly, so in few minutes they did emergency C-section,.. All were in Panick and I could see and hear they praying to the God for smooth delivery in surgery room,.. I was shivering uncontrollably and they had to give warmer to make my body stable,.. After few minutes they pulled the baby, which was in weird breech position, and he was not crying, which again Panick to the doctors,.. Then after few seconds he started crying very slowly, which relived everyone,.. They showed the baby while I was going through surgery, and I could only see his black dark heavy hair on his head. My recovery was quick, but because of mine and baby s blood group RH factor difference, (I have -ve blood group and baby has +ve) we had to keep him in special ward for some tests,.. Now when I think of everything, still feel very shaky,.. If it was few minutes delay, I would have lost him and may be myself too,.. I’m alive because of the doctors,.. Really thankful to them and also to the god,.. My little munchkin is growing so fast, which is treat to watch

Your baby is perfect. Please don't stress about the "weight" charts, and your baby needing to "keep up". My children were all considered low weight on the charts. I come from another country and when I told my mother who is a scientist, what I was being told, she went into research mode and found out American child weight charts are much heavier than the weight charts in other countries. So fast forward 24 years or so and my 3 children are gorgeous althetic healthy tall adults who are perfect weights. Doctors give advice based on their areas of studies and generalizations. Trust your instincts, your baby is a unique combination of your and your husband's genes. Ask your mom and your mother in law 👍😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤
He is beautiful! I agree a C section is very strange. My drugs were wearing off and I could feel alot. They gave me more drugs and all I could remember were the lights and I turned my head and seen blood on the floor and after that I don't remember a thing. I didn't even get to see my son until after I woke up in the recovery room and was taken to my regular room. It is definitely all worth it. Congratulations!

This is so precious! My son will be 21 on April 4, and this has brought back so many memories of when he was born! I also have a daughter who is 26. Congratulations. I've had 2 c-sections. One 9 years ago and 1 2 months ago yeah the surgery is something else but I forgot it all with time. Just a tip if he cries when you change his diaper since it is cold maybe his wipes are cold. I figured that out and we bought a wipe warmer and no more crying when we change his diaper.

I too after surgery, which I had general anesthesia, after surgery, I had the urge to use the bathroom to void & when I went, it was drip drip and that’s it & my bladder became extremely uncomfortable and so full then they did the fast catch/catheter & the nurse was a brute & it hurt like he$$ & so much urine came out & the relief was incredible & instantaneous. They called it a “sleepy bladder” and explained that the bladder sometimes takes a while longer to wake up from anesthesia. Any who, I am so happy for you & your family:) xoxo
Welcome to mommy hood. He’s gorgeous! It’s the best and scariest job a woman could have. Do you just stare at him amazed that he’s yours? I did that when I had my daughter. I would tell you that it stops but she’s 21 now and I still stare at her in amazement. Enjoy every moment because it flies by. Congratulations!

I had my baby boy two weeks ago! I also had a c section. And how you describe everything it’s almost how it went for me too. The catheter part omg that happens to me too they had to put it back because I was soo swollen. My baby it’s eating every two hours. Dr said he is in a grow spurt. He is like your baby he cries too when I change his diaper. I’m glad that you and the baby are ok! What a blessing! God is good!

O congratulations he is so cute.. and i had the same feeling when i had my baby exactly a year ago.. my baby turned one today .. 😍😍😄😄. Take care of your self even if u think you are ok. Im a single mom and when i had my baby y had to drive to take him to the doctor and thats how i ended up with an infection but i was glad my mom and sister helped me alot... and again congradulationes. Such a cute baby😍😍😍😍
Gloria Santos I was just telling my hubby that single moms are literally super humans! We have been very fortunate to have our family near and it is still so hard to take care of a newborn. My mom was also a single mom of 3 and i have a whole new understanding of her struggles. You are amazing!!

Aw I stopped editing my own video to come see you and your precious little angel I'm so happy your back! What a beautiful little boy he's such an angel God bless him, they probably gave you Pitocin it also made me shake and really cold, You look so happy and you definitely have that glow still. UGH the catheter is so annoying i hated that part 😭 Don't worry we all go through those emotions as first time mommy's I barely slept the first week just checking to see if my little guy was breathing and I also had those moments where I cried for the silly things out of no where its totally normal. Awwwcongradulations. He is so precious. I had a very similar c section experience. My baby boy came at 34 weeks but he was healthy. We were in the nick for almost a month but he is now 10 weeks and we couldn't be happier. Motherhood is such an amazing experience enjoy every amazing moment.

Congratulations Liz! He is absolutely precious! I have an 18 month old princess, and seeing Sebastian takes me back to when she was that tiny! He came out at a great size!! My daughter was just a couple ounces bigger when she was born at 42 weeks. I will be having my own little prince this July, I'm almost 20 weeks now. I've absolutely loved watching your journey and reliving my own previous pregnancy, and re-experiencing the things I have to look forward to! The adrenaline definitely tones down how a traumatic hospital experience feels. Going home and looking back at everything that happened - realizing everything you just went through and came out of, makes our little angels even more worth it all. Congratulations again! 💕

Congratulations, Liz! He is so perfect! I was very emotional too in the weeks following my daughter’s birth, but it gets better! Take lots of pictures and videos, as I’m sure you are!! 😊 I also made a pregnancy/delivery story scrapbook on Shutterfly for myself after my daughter was born and I included journaling of all the events and pictures throughout my pregnancy and from Kylie’s birth and I love having that to look back on because I realized that the details fade over the years and it’s nice to have something to look back on 💗🤗💗

Congratulations on your new bundle of joy. I can relate to everything you felt during delivery. I had my first baby 5 months ago via emergency c section but I was only 34 weeks 3 days pregnant. Sooo scary... but everything turned out great!! There’s no greater feeling than becoming a mom.

Congratulations Liz,.. Even I delivered baby boy in Jan last week this year,.. My delivery is a bit of scary,.. I had got pain 12 days prior to my due date, so I was not sure whether it was time to go to hospital,. I tried to sleep thinking that the pain might have been due to some food,.. But it was unbearable, then after an hour rushed to the hospital,. But Baby was in breech position, and I was dilated like 6cm,.. Doctor and entire team was panicked, because they were not ready to take risk of delivering breech baby normally,.. But baby was coming down very quickly, so in few minutes they did emergency C-section,.. All were in Panick and I could see and hear they praying to the God for smooth delivery in surgery room,.. I was shivering uncontrollably and they had to give warmer to make my body stable,.. After few minutes they pulled the baby, which was in weird breech position, and he was not crying, which again Panick to the doctors,.. Then after few seconds he started crying very slowly, which relived everyone,.. They showed the baby while I was going through surgery, and I could only see his black dark heavy hair on his head. My recovery was quick, but because of mine and baby s blood group RH factor difference, (I have -ve blood group and baby has +ve) we had to keep him in special ward for some tests,.. Now when I think of everything, still feel very shaky,.. If it was few minutes delay, I would have lost him and may be myself too,.. I’m alive because of the doctors,.. Really thankful to them and also to the god,.. My little munchkin is growing so fast, which is treat to watch
