And why was the player penalised for such a biased and dumb ball boy. His job is literally to give players the ball and he's trying to prevent a player from getting it.

The most hilarious thing about a lot of these incidents is that these players seem legitimately surprised when they get the red card, as if the things they did to get the card have _ever_ been allowed at any level they've ever played in their lives.
You know in hockey, it is considered undignified and dishonorable to fake a fall/injury. You do not want that kind of person in your team. I've heard a lot of people defending this kind of behaviour in football, but it is slowly, but steadily destroying the sport.
Unfortunately, faking injury became a 'can't beat 'em? Join 'em!' thing a long time ago. Teams started gaining an advantage by conning the ref so everyone else had to start doing it too. If the ones who started it had been punished at the time, we wouldn't be in this mess.
Every time I see dirty play, I'm struck by how sad it is that these offenders aren't actually enjoying the literal game they're playing for a living. Football is beautiful. It's tragic whenever toxic competitiveness is more important to a player than the sporting art they're participating in.
It's funny looking back at some of these and laughing at how bad some of the decisions were, actually a high percentage of these clips ended up with the wrong outcome tbh
Again the referees are duped into giving yellow, red cards and awarding penalties for players acting on at least 80% of these 'fouls'. How often do we see the trailing leg of the playing hitting the outstretched leg and the standing player sees it as an opportunity to fall over, and the referee calls it a foul. It needs to stop as it does ruin the beautiful game, the supporters will cheer, until their team gets a player sent off and a penalty awarded against them, then it is all wrong !!!
