Hello, I'm from Argentina. I bought a Husqvarna Automatic Class 21 in 2002. It was love at first sight.I was surprised at how well it sewed. It is from 1958 and is very complete. It has a lot of accessories and functions. I love my Husqvarna ❤
Hello from New Zealand. I found a nice Singer 319K and was happy until I saw this video. The two speed gearbox and free arm sold me. I was extremely fortunate to find a Husqvarna 21E. Was advertised as not having any parts or bobbins. Your video showing the accessories storage under the foot pedal case storage box clued me in and it was there! Joy! Many thanks.
My mom bought a Husqvarna Prisma 980 in the 1980ies, she still has it and it still run like dream. I was amazed by how quiet it is compared to my Singer 4432.
As far as I've been able to tell, if it fits under the foot of my model 21, the machine will sew through it. Including thumbs, if the operator is sufficiently determined.
Just came across your great youtube videos while searching and exploring for info on older Husqvarna machines. Quite like to see you are a sailor as my question might be up your street. Have not been aware of your boat and sailing videos, will have to check them out. I have a Husqvarna Combina II modell 3230 in good working order, which I am about to use for making a sailboat dodger and cockpit canopy, given the machine is up to the task. It is interesting you call some of the Husqvarna machine for huskies, do you know anything about the capabilities of mine in this respect ? I intend to use UV treated 300gpm canvas, UV treated M25 or 35 poly/cotton thread, zippers, edge band, clear 0,5mm window plastic, etc. I hesitate to purchase all the materials in one go before I trust my Husqvarna to perform adequately and will first test on sample materials.
My 21E sews regular thread beautifully but I'm having tension issues with the Gutermann M782 extra strength thread. The Singer k319 sews it tight but the Huskie leaves it proud and even on max tension, seems loose? Any advice. Much appreciated.
Hi Davie. Thanks so much for these videos. I’ve been binging them for days. I’ve got Bernina Record 730 with a busted motor. It started smoking due to the degradation of the wire windings. Do you have tips on sourcing new good quality motors suitable to retrofit into older machines?
Hi, what type of long belt do you use on your 21E... It kinda looks like an original belt as far as I can see in the video, I've been trying to get a MB-510 poly belt as my 21A is slipping badly but failed so far... one seller refunded me as they couldn't restock them and another seller sent me a MB-520 instead witch doesn't fit and 3 other sellers have the belt but won't send to my country, so yeah... no luck so far. Luckily I have two 21A's and one can use an MB-500 belt witch is easy to get.
Ho there! Just got a Husqvarna 2000 and can’t even figure out how to insert the thread (complete beginner and no instructions). Do you cover that somewhere?
If you have the early 2000, the light green one, it is threaded the same way as you see in this video. Later ones have a more integrated upper thread tensioner, but still the principle is the same. Always remember to have the presser foot lifted up when you thread the machine (insert the thread). Very important. Have the presser foot up and make sure the thread goes in between the tension discs or plates.
Need some help. The reversing button was stuck on my wife's machine. While trying to get it freed up, I loosened the screws holding the stitch length adjustment rod. I did not mark the orientation to the shaft and now seems that the machine is not stitching properly. I would like to get the rod in the correct location. Any ideas?
Soviet Block have the same design machine - czechoslovakian LADA T132. It costs 1/3 of motorcycle and very rare. I got one in housing not far from Kremlin for 15$ without attachments.

Hello, yes I prepare machines for sale, mostly on request. People tell me what the need a machine for, and I find the best one for the job, and prepare it for them.
What I'm looking for is something that will sew the occasional leather wallet that will also sew lighter fabrics, the wife has had several machines non any good it also will need to stitch slower like the ones in the vid

It’s an original belt on my machine, but a poly belt should work ok.

There is a Husqvarna fb group, with manuals available in the files section of the group
